There is also very little protection in the front, but then again, the screen is so big, not many cases will have much protection in the front. I got a D30 case which was better. If you plan on putting it on, and never opening it up again, then maybe it's fine. But it is very hard to open without scratching the phone or breaking the case itself. The finishing and gaps are also not very good.
In order to put a microSDHC memory card in the phone you have to be able to remove the shell. There is a "coin slot", but if you put in a coin and twist the plasic slot gets a big scratch in it but it doesn't come open. So you have to pull on it as well and then the top plastic piece BREAKS apart.
Body Glove says they don't have any replacements because it's specially made for T-mobile. The Customer Service person said I should "send an email to customer service" (huh!?!). The part that clips into the holder doesn't always "click" in and you have to fiddle with it too.
A great idea that just isn't made well enough.
I have used the Body Glove cases on my old G1 which lasted for the several years I had the phone, on my old Nokia brick phone, and on another phone I am forgetting the maker. All lasted me for a very long time (the Nokia phone still has the case on it). that said I was excited to see Body Glove made one for my S2 T-mobile phone, however I wasn't impressed by it.
The case lasted about 6 months, however I was rough on it. Rougher with this case then with the 2nd one I bought for the phone (which that one was junk). I am also the type to take things apart and put them back together repeatedly when on the phone. It is a bad habit that aided in the eventual demise of the case. After the phone took a few spills one of the little tangs that clip the pieces together broke off, which meant the case had a loose corner. This led to me taking it apart and putting it back together, which eventually wore out the other tangs and after a few more spills the other tangs bit the dust one by one. The case itself was holding strong, but I didn't want to tape/glue the case together (which I could have easily have done and it would have been fine).
The holes in the case cleared all the different ports and camera lenses just fine. The caller came through clearly, and they heard me just fine. The speaker wasn't muffled and all the buttons were easily accessed. The case didn't make the phone too bulky, especially with the clip removed.Read more ›

It's good quality. Only giving four stars cause I thought it came with a hard plastic screen protector. Read morePublished 20 months ago by eladio nunez
Not what I needed. It is very difficult to put it together.Published 21 months ago by sheldon m. poretsky
These cases all seem prone to a manufacturing defect that makes the corner clip moldings on the back section of the case very weak. Look carefully for hairline cracks. Read morePublished 22 months ago by UK Expat
