Before starting her consulting business, Be Well By Kelly, she worked in the medical field for Fortune 500 companies like J&J, Stryker, and Hologic, eventually moving into personalized medicine, offering tumor gene mapping and molecular subtyping to oncologists. She is a frequent contributor to dozens of active diet and fitness, fashion, and lifestyle sites. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and completed her postgraduate studies in clinical nutrition at UCLA and UC Berkeley. I've started incorporating the FAB4 diet into my lifestyle and it works! I'm not trying to lose weight, but rather improve overall health (and wean myself off of the gummy bear/potato chip habit). I feel so satiated with this nutritional approach and my cravings have completely disappeared. Seriously! I also feel that my blood sugar is finally in balance, and that has immensely helped my focus at work and my mood (no hangry snaps at my husband). I'm sleeping better than I have ever slept in my life and I just feel great!
And the recipes are good! Like REALLY GOOD. When I told my husband we were trying them, he initially did his "not another healthy meal" pleading, but now he can't stop talking about how good they are. Some of the must-try recipes include carnitas (best. carnitas. ever.), caesar salad - add shrimp, and cookies & cream fab four smoothie.
I haven't ready Body Love yet, but I loved this so much that I'm going to read that one now. Reverse order, but I love Kelly's approach and tone, and can't wait to learn more.

TRUTH: In the 14 days of following the book, I've only done 2 days of Kelly's strict advice. I found that it was not enough calories to sustain my busy life as a mom, artist, and cross-fitter. I abide to the fabfour philosophy though, and it has worked. Also, I have binged a few junk snacks, and we have eaten a few NO-NO meals since starting (pizza night). WORK IN PROGRESS!!!!
