The book's illustrations are excellent and accurate and with the added kinetics, it helps me to understand how the Human Form can interact with say a yacht interior or how one supine in gentle backward bend can be supported by a bench, representing a great circle say, and that one is stretching backwards supported by a wooden 'deck', adopting the five pointed star position, like Michelangelo Man, I want to experience release say in that position. Is this correct, I'm not sure, but after years of body work, interaction with people, and this book, has helped me answer that
I first met David in South Africa, Cape Town at Vivien Schappera's Alexander Technique workshops and then stopping by his school in London, in the early 90's. That's where I got this book first. Regretting not having studied at his school, I have had this book close at hand for most of the last 25 years. If you are a body enthusiast, this book is a true gem and one hopefully soon back on my shelf :)
