That gripe aside, Body Shop continues the elevation of artificial intelligence and the impact it will have on society. Very interesting is the differentiating the author makes between sentient AI and super intelligences. I inserted the word "sentient" as it is implicit but nowhere mentioned as such by the author. What might this difference be? I suspect we already have similar differentiation already when talking of an ordinary bloke like me or a genius like Einstein...it is all about intelligence capacity!
Bronwyn and Darwin are such super intelligences and basically can out think any human on earth.
That is why the Brown Shirt movement targeted Toby Mackintosh for elimination.
The Brown Shirts are those thick, thuggish ogres thumping Bibles and rushing Padres through six months training courses on how to intimidate the public, to obfuscate any issue with their methods and throw up obstacles to the recognition of sentient AI's as legal entities/natural beings.
Body Shop starts off with Toby's bodyguard and lover, Billy, being kidnapped. Every single page there after is sparkling with action, wonder, surprise and sudden plot shifts so as to make it impossible to put this book down.
Hmmm. Anybody want to check on how many man hours this author succeeds in wasting in this manner? Enjoy!
And where is Uncle Nate ?
I'm ready for Natural Born !!
The storyline is well developed as are the characters..
The more I read of this series the more I am one with the characters. Highly entertaining and recommended.
to the next two episodes that Mr. Hindmarsh has promised yet this year.
