I really learned a lot from this book - why what I used to think about exercise was bunk (and why it wasn't working), and some great ways to get better results in less time. There are some really great recipes in this book too.

Also, it's just a total paradigm shift when you look at weight loss - it really explains my past failures and how I can succeed for a lifetime. He also gives you the link to a free diet plan for 21days where you can drop 10lbs without being hungry. It really works!!

I was always trying one kind of exercise or another and not getting the body I wanted. I also didn't have the kind of info I needed. In my 50's I was getting that apple shape; my clothes didn't fit anymore; and I didn't feel so great. Josef gives you a program, Gary tells the truth about carbs vs fat and you can make time to do this. I'm down to an 8 in pants, a small in most tops and I can run around with my students. Heck, I'm on the cover. YOU can do this too!

The ideas presented here, combining a low carb diet with resistance training for weight loss and fitness, are good but not original and much more usefully presented by other sources. Only 5 pages in the book present exercise recommendations, but do not have any figures or descriptions to show how to do the exercises (what are "upper cuts"?). It says the exercises are demonstrated on the author's youtube site, but I searched that site long and in vain. The book is poorly written and poorly organized, consisting mostly of ranting about other methods that don't work. The author's youtube site and website don't help much.
