Welcome to the world of Boe Bvshpolawa Glasschild!
In the Choctaw language, Bvshpolawa means Many Knives. A proud member of the great Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Boe was given this name by Elders with the explanation that a knife was a grand tool and that Boe would have many tools in his lifetime. In the medicine world, this naming speaks of the diverse paths to healing Boe has walked:
Choctaw and Amerindian spirituality
Tawepiki (Lightning Dance) shamanism
Kundalini and Hatha yogas
Tuva throat singing
Boe is the founder of N.O.W.-Nature's Own Wisdom. This 501c3 nonprofit organization was created in 2009 to promote healthier lifestyle choices. The platform for these workshops is the Green Life Series, a synthesis of Amerindian, Eastern and aboriginal philosophies that serve as the starting point for the greatest journey of all- the journey inward.
Boe is bassist for Sun Shadows, a world music project that has both performed and won awards at the prestigious American Indian Summer Music Awards in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
To date, Boe has nine educational certifications in fitness and health, and is currently :
-a Health Mentor for Genesee County Community Mental Health,

-a Hurley Health Fitness Center personal trainer and fitness instructor for the
Hurley Medical Center,

"We start where we are and go forward. We entered this incarnation with the tools we would need for awakening to our personal path of self actualization. Sometimes we walk the longer path, at other times we find shortcuts. It all depends on what we need to experience so that we remain an awakened being. This is good!" bvshpolawa
