So boot is fine for dewed grass or mud but do not believe company description of a waterproof boot. It isn't.
Finally a barn boot that I can slide on and off without bending over or touching them with my hands and with a pipe large enough that they hold my pant legs up so they aren't soaked when take the boot off. I have a wide foot with high arch so I normally wear a man's 8.5E or EE workboot and I bought a size 10D in these and they work perfect. Could have possibly been happy with a 9.5 but the 10 works for me. I have horses and sheep and need a boot that is easy to slip on and off to run out to the barn or check the pastures at night during lambing, and that is actually waterproof and a four-season boot and these fit the bill perfectly. I probably wouldn't want to work for hours in these in the hottest summer or coldest winter but they are just the right weight for pasture checks, cleaning out the drylot or other casual chores. I've owned them a few weeks so too early to judge durability but they appear to be high quality.
This is a great boot won’t leave scratches on hardwood floors especially if you’re kneeling like a plumber if you’re outside on a hillside with plenty of traction and your feet stay nice and dry I definitely own a boot dryer so you definitely need to get a boot dryer if you use these boots and I also bought expensive high arch support for them so if you add those bells and whistle‘s to the package you won’t be disappointed
And I don’t know how anybody on planet earth doesn’t put their boots on the boot dryer every night I use the brand. Feet’s Boot dryer
And this beats the hell out of Mukes
Look slightly less stupid than floral print wellies, but not much. People who know what's up will give you a respectful nod, and everyone with cold, wet feet in their "waterproof" hiking boots will be super jealous while you shovel out your car with a happy grin.
The hook on the back for taking them off doesn't get in the way and is super handy.
Because of the big lugs and lack of siping, they are terrible on ice. However, the oversized sole can accommodate most microspike like things. You can also try taking a razor to the lugs and siping them yourself - it's a little better (I did one first to try it out).
Great warm, dry, durable winter boot. A huge step up from wellies with liners. I was happy at the price I paid for them, but not sure I'd drop a c-bill.
