Bottom line is that I'm out $20.00. This is a flop. It actually does not work as well as glue. If you want to join something back together, you have to build up the material all around the join area. You'll see a lump of material. Therefore, the repair has to be in a place where you don't care that the material is built up and visible. There's far too little material supplied. Refills are far too expensive. Later, I found there's a nearly identical product on the market for half the price. Refills with that product are also half the price. I only ended up fixing one thing successfully, and I could have replaced that item with a new item for $15.00. No cost savings. By the way, I don't believe for a second that this material is 100% non toxic as advertised; it is obviously a synthetic polymer like any other synthetic polymer. Smell it and you'll see. If the company wants to assert that it is non-toxic, then they should state exactly what the chemical is. I'd then review the Material Safety Data Sheet on that chemical. What it may be is the kind of material used in 3D liquid printer prototyping. If you paid this much for the liquid goop to do your 3D modeling, you'd be bankrupt after your first few models. So this is a near total loss for me. I would never consider buying this product again. It's not worth it in the slightest sense.

Use it to repair the tiny claw holes he put in your washing machine drain hose in an attempt to flood your house and drown you. You may also need it to repair the damage to your cell phone charger when he tries to bite it in half so you can't call for help.

This was developed for the dental industry and that is exactly where it should have stayed. It may work well in the cavities of teeth, but not much else. It must be layered onto that which is being repaired. More product will be needed for larger repair projects. Think twice my friends. Super glue is a much better product and much, much cheaper. I just threw thirty dollars down the drain. If you do not have a very specific use for this product then please, do not buy it because you are curious. You are going to be greatly disappointed. Super glue is still the best for over all home repair jobs. At some point in the future this product just may be what I'm looking for in an adhesive.

Wow...I'm disappointed. I really needed this thing to work. I was very impressed with the video.

I read some reviews on here regarding fluid leakage from the pen, and I thought it can happen, but maybe their quality-control will step up. I received this unit and it was partially covered with the liquid material that leaked out - not a lot. But it isn't the type of stuff you want on your skin, and there's no way around it unless you open the package with a cloth or paper towel handy. Also, the pen body is much more flexible than I would have thought. It's like a stiff black plastic drinking straw with threads that don't seal that well. Okay, not a big deal.

But the LED wouldn't light. There are two ways of activating it - sliding a switch down that presses one of the LED leads to make contact with the battery, or by squeezing the soft battery case to do the same thing. Nothing. I don't know if the LED is defective or the battery was dead. I suspect the latter.

I had an application for which this item would have been perfect. But I can't use it and have to send it back. Very disappointed.

I began my return process with Amazon, but in the meantime, the seller noticed my review and promptly sent a replacement, unsolicited by me. The replacement arrived today and the LED light was fully functional. I didn't notice any leakage around the pen, but I might still expect some, given the material it's made from. The item works as advertised, though I will say that the resulting cured product is a bit more flexible than it appears in the video.

It isn't glue, but if you've had any experience with actual metal welding, you will have more success - you need to make a good solid mechanical connection for good strength.

I updated my review from one to four stars - for the product itself. It isn't the cat's pajamas as it appeared, but it's pretty good.

The seller is outstanding - and I very much appreciate their efforts to satisfy this customer.

This product is rubbish, sadly. Read the instructions carefully, cleaned and sanded down the split in the plastic (am trying to mend a small crack in a motorcycle fairing), built the gloop up in thin layers, curing it as I went with the UV light aaaaaaaaand....it didn't work. At all. 0 out of 10. A real shame. Not sure what the solution to fixing the fairing is yet, but it sure isn't this stuff.

Os dejo mi opinión de este producto que ya hace años conocía al ser bauhaus el 1º que comenzó a venderlo, aunque nunca llegue a comprarlo. Se trata de una resina muy liquida que suelda con la luz uv que emite una pequeña linterna de led que trae. Como veréis no he usado la palabra pegamento ya que no es un pegamento del tipo cianocrilato aunque su viscosidad es similar. Un pegamento une 2 superficies que están en contacto siendo un puente entre ambas, sin embargo bondic no actúa así , ya que si así fuera la luz no podría activarlo en la zona de unión. Su funcionamiento se basa en ir aplicando capas alrededor de la zona a unir, lo mismo que haríamos con un electrodo soldando. Del mismo modo, el hecho de raspar la zona para que este imprime bien, favorece su agarre, y lo ideal es aplicar capas finas, muy finas y darle con la luz y seguidamente otras capas. Agarra en todo tipos de plásticos, (incluso termoplásticos del tipo polipropileno) así como metales. Posteriormente se puede taladrar, limar o pintar. Sin embargo no llega a ser una soldadura propiamente dicha de plástico.
Yo lo uso para reparar algunos juguetes que mi hijo de 3 años rompe con frecuencia y he de reconocer que donde otros fallan, bondic puede salir airoso. Reparaciones de pequeñas piezas, zonas que faltan por la rotura, refuerzo de zonas afectadas etc actúa dignamente soportando incluso tensiones para ajustar en zona móviles.
Os dejo una foto de una reparación de una bisagra de un coche de playmobil, la cual se ha tenido que reparar en 2 ocasiones con bondic y donde el cianocrilato o las resinas epoxi no se podían hacer nada.

[Bondic] has made me into a pseudo "super dad"

I was skeptical, having read both the positive and negative reviews. I did get the sense from many of the negative reviews though that there was a distinct possibility the person reviewing simply ... well ... wasn't doing it right. And I'm glad I went on that assumption. It works! The Bondic was purchased to repair a broken piece of my laptop bezel where the charge cable plugs in. I knew my laptop was on the verge of a major repair if I didn't do something soon, as the charge cable was very "jiggly" and I feared the soldering joints on the motherboard would give way if I didn't repair the bezel around it. Bondic filled the space perfectly, without having to take the laptop apart. It went as solid as plastic within a few seconds of being exposed to the light, and I feel like I've successfully avoided a repair that would have cost $150+. From there, the Bondic has been used around the house for various repair jobs here and there, and what I truly love about it is that it has made me into a pseudo "super dad" - I'm able to fix small issues with toys and electronics with no waiting. "Sure kids, bring it here, I'll use Bondic" - and it has worked well. I've fixed the buttons on my son's MP3 player, I've fixed broken toys for my youngest, and more... all without them having to wait for the old "Well, I'll try to glue it for you tonight, but we'll have to wait until morning to see if it holds." Now I'm fixing things quickly, easily, and effectively. I've added refills to my wishlist. This thing is great!
