About Bonnie J. Golden
Bonnie's motto is "It's YOUR yoga" and she encourages each student to honor their beautiful and unique mind/body/breath. Bonnie's vast experience in teaching is fused with her love of lifelong learning, and she is delighted to continually teach, educate, practice, write about, and study yoga and meditation.
In the early 2000s, after many years of teaching adults at the college level and sharing the tools of yoga for stress management, Bonnie formally qualified to teach yoga through international yoga master Tias Little (Prajna Yoga). At Prajna Yoga, she also successfully completed specialty training in Prenatal Yoga with Linda Spackman. She is a certified Yoga for Healthy Aging teacher studying with Dr. Baxter Bell and Nina Zolotow, as well becoming a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise specialist with Dr. Sarah Ellis DuVall.
Further formal yoga training and expertise includes Relax and Renew® training with Dr. Judith Lasater and Dr. Roger Cole and several specializations of Yoga Tune Up® with Jill Miller. Bonnie has written for the Yoga Tune Up® blog, Yoga for Healthy Aging blog, and is a published author on the subjects of self-esteem and psychological type (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®).
