Bont Size Chart - Find Your Bont Skate Size
Skate boots are not like your average shoe. For maximum control, your boots need to fit like a second skin. That is why Bont boot sizing is NOT the same as your US shoe size or other skate brand sizing.
Wear the type of socks you’ll wear with your boots. Distribute weight evenly before measuring.
STEP 1
On a hard surface, tape a piece of blank paper to the floor. Stand up straight with your foot on the paper. Your heel should be barely touching the wall or not at all. DO NOT push your heel into the wall, as it will produce incorrect length measurements.
STEP 2
Mark the longest part of your foot (heel-to-toe length) and the widest part of your foot on the paper with a pen or pencil. If your heel is away from the wall, trace around your whole foot. Make sure your pen is held vertically, not at an angle. Repeat with the other foot, as the right and left foot may be different sizes.
STEP 3
Use a ruler to measure the heel-to-toe length and width measurement for each foot. Take these measurements and input them into the size calculator or compare them to the size chart below.
Women's Roller Skates
Women's roller skates typically use shorter plates to match the smaller-sized roller skate boot. Women's roller skates often come in bright colors such as pink, purple, and teal colors. Women's roller skates can come in different styles such as outdoor roller skates, speed skates, park skates, street skates, indoor skates and, roller derby skates. These skates are perfect for girls roller skates, kids roller skates, roller skates for women, and roller skates for girls aged 6-12.
Girl's Roller Skates
Many entry-level girls roller skates are made on shoe lasts (the plastic foot that the skate is made around). These shoe lasts are not designed for roller skates and often cause blisters and pain. Bont roller skates are made on dedicated skate lasts especially for girls aged 6-12. Our girl's roller skates are comfortable, supportive, heat-moldable to the girl's feet, and made with durable materials that will last a long time. If you are looking for girls roller skates, Bont roller skates are an excellent choice.
These Bont roller skates can be used for indoor or outdoor skating. They come with 83A outdoor skating wheels which can also be used indoor but they are not designed to be the absolute best indoor wheels. If you want to change from outdoor skating to indoor you could buy a set of indoor wheels which are typically harder than these wheels. Look for indoor wheels that are between 92A and 98A. Outdoor wheels for roller skating are typically in the hardness range of 78A to 83A. Can you use these skates for indoor skating as they are? Absolutely! Unless you are a really good skater, using these skates for indoor skating will be perfectly fine.
Roller Skates for Beginners
These roller skates are perfect for beginners. They are lighter than most roller skates and they are very very comfortable which means beginner roller skaters can spend more time skating, and less time with sore feet. One of the biggest challenges for beginner roller skaters is the pain they get from their skates so starting off with a good set of skates is key. Also, if you take a tumble, these roller skates are very durable and most light crashes will not even show a mark on the leather.

These fit so well, I would highly recommend measuring your foot to ensure a good fit. They are extremely comfortable and I fell that I have a lot of control with them. The laces are so nice and I don’t ever have to worry about them coming undone. Only thing of not that’s even slightly negative is that on my pair at least you can see the glue on the side from where the rubber front is attached, even with that it’s not a big deal to me when I compare it to how well these perform and feel straight out of the box!

I might be a newbie and a fool, but I purchased these derby skates with the intention of making them outdoor skates. It was just so hard to find my size in outdoor skates lately since EVERYBODY is buying skates like crazy. These were a great deal and since I can barely walk in high heels, skating in heels sounded counter-intuitive, so I figured I'd try setting up a derby skate for outdoors. When I used to run and coach running groups, I ran in minimalist shoes and I preferred to have a wide toe box, even for my tiny feet, so my research on skates pointed me to this brand for it's square toe box. I think I made a reasonably good choice. Maybe I would wish for the material to be more flexible just for comfort but it's really not bad. Out of the box, the wheels and bearings are really nice; be aware that if you're planning on switching the bearings only but keeping the wheels, the existing wheels have mini-bearings. I'm reasonably sure they're ABEC9 or similar because they feel exactly like (or possibly faster than) the abec9 bankroll bearings I bought for the outdoor wheels.
As far as adjustment on the existing skate package: They needed the wheels to be loosened/made equal, and the truck on one skate needed adjustment to roll straight. It was a pain to make little micro adjustments and roll on the floor each time to see if I adjusted it right, but eventually this newbie got her skate to roll straight. The existing wheels are 92A speed wheels and have a little grippiness on my hardwood floors. I'm no wheel expert; I ended up switching to radar energy 65 behemoths for my crappy outdoor roads anyway.
This is the second pair I've bought where the trucks do not tighten so they are super loose. I tried contacting Bont they said they can't help me because I bought them from Amazon but when I tried to contact the seller it redirects me to Bont's website. This seller is selling defective skates DO NOT BUY!
I wear a size 9.5 or 10 in womens shoes normally. Purchased 6.5 Bont size and they fit perfect. I haven't been skating yet only tried them on in the house. Can't wait to put them to use!!
