Booda Tuff Plush Rug Dog, Poodle
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.
- Cotton lined seams strengthen a normally weak spot in plush toys
- Triple stitched for durability
- Tuff Plush Dog Toys have canvas laminated to the inside of the plush, which makes the plush 3x stronger than normal.
- A “tough” Dog Toy, that is softer “plushier” and definitely CUTER than is what currently available
- Rug Dogs only contain 30% of the standard amount of plush in their heads and none in their bodies making it even less puncture proof

Tuff Plush toys are made to be three times stronger than regular plush. Soft, squeezable toys with a canvas underlayment and nylon reinforced seams for added strength. Rug dogs have minimal stuffing. Classified as a tough toy for those aggressive chewers.

Given that my dogs (greyhounds) are pretty typical (not too aggressive but do attack their toys sometimes) the Booda is the most durable toy "plush" toy that I have had in memory. In fact, it has lasted over four months and still is in one piece. The squeaky is even still inside and works a bit, if you manage to get a spot that covers the holes the dogs have made in it with their canines. I would recommend this toy for people that are looking for a more durable plush toy.
If your dog tears this apart in a short time, then maybe it is time to move on to hard rubber or plastic toys. I have had to do this with other dogs that have since passed away; there were just interested in getting the stuffing out of every toy I gave them. So after some frustration, I went to a plastic barbell shaped squeaky toy, which worked much better.
Update: He did end up finding the weak spots (nose and eyes) destroying this toy in about 2 weeks. I was really hopeful that it would last longer, but it still lasted longer then any other fabric/stuffed toy we have ever given him. And, no stuffing mess to clean up which was nice. I would still recommend it, but maybe not for an obsessive chewer. Unless you view the purchase as a treat (as I might) and expect that it may not last a long time.
I knew that my dog would like this toy because she likes to annoy the older huskies at the dog park. The fact that I was right is amusing.
The toy is very strongly made and I'd recommend it if someone asked for a long lasting toy for their slightly less aggressive chewer. It's cute and well made, just couldn't survive the jaws of my Dexter.
