Great for those short shopping trips for groceries and especially convenient when jotting down appointments or reminders, new friends info, Bible study assignments, thoughts for the day. I had a question about the life of the non replaceable battery. Answer: The only time the battery is used is when the button is pressed. It should last for at least five years with normal use. Lightweight and easy-to-read. Fits nicely in my bag. The pen easily clips for the next use.

This is light weight, super easy to use, and a good price. I am a registered nurse and use it as my jot pad while I'm on shift where I can easily delete the message when I'm done with what I need to note. I also love to randomly doodle while in meetings so this allows me to doodle without wasting paper. I also saw they have a glow in the dark version and I think I'm gonna have to somehow justify the need to purchase that....

The boogie board is great for all kinds of notes and lists. When the list is no longer needed just erase and start again. I carry it in my purse. The only down side is that it does not have a replaceable battery, However my last one lasted a very long time.

…but still does the job. I’m impressed with the brightness of the writing. Erasing sometimes takes a couple presses of the button. The pen is the worst part - it does not fit well onto the corner and doesn’t want to snap into place like it’s supposed to. There’s also no way to protect the screen from extra marks. I still gave it 4 stars though, because it’s convenient and I love the tech.

This is a nice little toy with at least some practical value. I bought it thinking I’d put it on the refrigerator somehow and use it to leave last-minute notes to my wife; you know, “Don’t forget milk” and so on. I’m not sure how it works since it takes no batteries and doesn’t need charging, but it works well and is funky/cool/retro in a very good way.

Unfortunately, before I had a chance to play with it, my three-year-old kleptomaniac granddaughter made off with the thing and now it’s at my daughter’s house, three hours away! On the plus side, it only cost ten bucks; cheaper to buy another one than to have my daughter mail mine back to me.

I now know what I’m buying my granddaughter for Christmas. Maybe she can use it to send notes to her cellmates once she’s doing hard time at Shawshank. Considering her light-fingered tendencies, her future incarceration is all but a certainty!

Small as a pocket notebook.

This is a great product to replace the original notebooks that you will throw away. It replaces a dozen or so notebooks. It fits in my shirt pockets for work and is easily available in my line of work as a mechanical engineer. Great product with few disadvantages and disappointments. First, i wish that the company would stop thinking about profits and more about the environment. You cannot change the battery once its dead so you will have to buy a new boogie board jot pocket every time that the battery dies. I got this device for the sole purpose of being more environmentally friendly and despite the fact that this jot pocket does replace a dozen notebooks, you will eventually have to throw this one out. Second complaint that i have is the weird shape. Why couldn't the boogie board be rectangular like a normal pocketbook? This jot pocket curves on all four sides making it a weird shape. Third complaint is that because you do not have to use the pen that comes with it but your nails and pretty much anything else, every time i put it in my pocket, it will make weird blops and spots on the screen. Yes, you could erase it, but it does use precious screen space that could be used for real notes taking. It also uses precious battery life. For those reasons, i would recommend this product but will also be cautious. I prefer my mini size rocketbook and the frixion pen that comes with it rather than this boogie board jot pocket.
