I can't keep my niece entertained for long periods of time. But this BoohBah dvd DID THE TRICK! She loves Boohbah's. I couldn't understand this DVD but she really, really interacts making noises back at the tv, and loves Boohbahs.

My 15 month dauther loves Boohbah. Hot dog is her first Boohbah DVD and she loves it. There are three stories on the DVD and I like it because I can play all three if we have the time or just one if we only have a few minutes.

For anyone who hasn't seen Boohbah, it's not like other children's movies. It can be compared to Teletubies. I don't know why children like it but my dauther doesn't budge when the movie is one. I can actually enjoy a few minutes to myself.

Don't expect to "get it" as an adult but children love it.

Boohbah is not for adults folks, it's meant for kids! I do like some scenes myself but kids will love it because it's colorful and some scenes are funny for the little ones.

Don't even try to understand it - just put it in your DVD player. Kids love the dancing blobs which in my opinion look like dancing male anatomy. This is visually entertaining for anyone under 5. It kept my kids mesmerized for a good 10 to 15 minutes. Enough said.

This program debuted when I was little, and I used to watch it when nothing better was on. However, I always found it boring and mind-numbing, and not long ago I revisited it and was only reminded of how torturous a series it could be. I understand it was produced for small children and toddlers, and it was created by the makers of ''Teletubbies,'' and that's quite easy to tell; it is EXTREMELY psychedelic and makes little to no sense or educational value. All the Boohbahs seem to do is run around and engage in simple, random dance sequences, their every movement accompanied by flatulent sound effects. Even the segments of the program that DON'T contain the exploits of the Boohbahs aren't particularly interesting or educational-- virtually every character on the series who is not one of the Boohbahs is one of the random pantomime actors whose segments revolve solely around them engaging in simple, rather boring activities. Though I enjoyed Teletubbies as a child, the Boohbahs never truly appealed to me and I honestly would not recommend this to anybody for any reason.

First, I'm not a big fan of the 'Boobah' in general, they are creepy looking. My 2 and a half year old granddaughter really likes them though, she started watching them around age 1. She enjoys the video, will imitate their movements/dance and is starting to appreciate the story lines now. Even though they are strange looking, I'd recommend the video.
