If you are not yet receiving 4-digit royalty payments every month, this is the book for you. Heather Hart's Book Marketing 101: Marketing Your Book On a Shoestring Budget provides a complete collection of book marketing tools that are FREE (my favorite word!).

The thing I liked the most was the way that Heather tied all of the tools together. Quite a few (many most?) book marketing books present lists of techniques that appear to be stand-alone and not really tied to each other. This particular book stands out in my mind by tying all of the tools to act in unison and create a central theme for the author. Heather's book struck me as a rock-solid marketing plan for the new author who is bootstrapping it and needs more than a collection of unrelated book marketing tools. If you are a new author, you will probably want to use every single one of these tools.

IMHO, a new author can't pick a better starting point when creating a marketing plan than this book. Well done Heather!

In Book Marketing 101, author Heather Hart offers dozens of ways to promote your title online and offline. Many of the suggestions cost nothing but time. The approach is thorough and up-to-date. The task of marketing a book, whether self-published or released by a traditional publisher, can be daunting. Heather breaks it down into manageable segments and then wisely suggests that you make your own choices as to which methods to pursue, and to leave time for writing your work-in-progress while marketing your newest release.

Heather gave me a PDF copy of her book with no obligation to review. I received and read it when feeling overwhelmed by the process. Her book turned my attitude around and gave me hope and momentum to move forward.

This book couldn't have come to me at a better time! I recently self published my first novel and was swimming in a sea of ideas of what I should do to market my book. I was completely overwhelmed as to the steps I should take after having read blogs, tweets and numerous internet articles. Book Marketing 101 organized me and my thoughts and helped me put together a logical plan of what I should do and in what order. Some of the tips in the book I already knew (have a website, hand out bookmarks, know your goals & audience, etc) but this book went beyond those basics. I appreciate the many references to tools and resources that could help me; quite honestly, I wasn't aware of many of these freebies! And there were ideas that I would have never thought of on my own. This book has saved me a lot of time since it's one stop shopping to get my marketing efforts off the ground!

As someone who plans to self-publish my next book, I have already done tons of research. I learned a few new things in this book, but for someone who hasn't learned much yet, this is a good book to start with.

Heather Hart's marketing book is a must have for all that are considering marketing a book. She gives you many ideas on what you need to do to market your book and many of those tips are ones that you would not have considered.

Book Marketing 101: Marketing Your Book on a Shoestring Budget is exactly as it states. Basic 101 an easy read, nothing long and drawn out but ideas short and to the point.

I will use many of her ideas in marketing my book "My School Days".

For the price of this book how could you not want to have it on your desk for reference.

Do yourself a favor and purchase this book.

This small e-book is a mere 35 pages long but Heather Hart more than adequately covers the subject matter.
This is an excellent resource for writers and is both extremely practical and wonderfully inspirational.

Heather asked me to review this book for her and gave me a free copy. Had she not, I would have gladly bought it and would had been very happy with my purchase. Reading this book is like having Heather as a trusted friend, in your home, simply talking to you about ways to market your book. Heather includes several pertinent and much appreciated links and information for both off line and online book marking techniques that related to her suggestions to get your book "out there".

Perhaps the most valuable bonus that Heather gives the reader is the excitement of writing and publishing your own books. Along with practical ideas, she really inspires the reader.

I highly recommend this book both to those who have a book idea that has not yet quite materialized and also to established authors. There is something in this book for every writer.

I know that I will be personally referring to this not only for my first published book but also for my books still to come. Thank you Heather for writing this book.

This book is a great marketing tool as I begin my first journey of marketing my first book.
Heather takes you step by step guiding you through the process of how to plan to market your
book and she made it an easy by giving me the tools to get it done.

This book is truly a value as it gets to each point without long drawn out explanations. Just
helpful tips and links to point you in the direction to how to market your book on a shoestring.

Thank you Heather for mapping out the path for us writers to begin the process of marketing which
