The name of the book is "The Book of Philippians: Paul's Letter to Philippi". The book is divided into 10 lessons and each lesson contains an explaination of the text, the reading of the text, three questions to think about, and a prayer for the day.
The reason Philippians is one of my favorite book of the Bible is because my favorite verse is Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that hew which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:". The reason this is my favorite verse is because this is the verse that set me in the direction of dedicating my life to Jesus Christ.
Deborah, does a good job of explaining the scripture for each lesson which shows her study and research in writing this book.
If there is any criticism of this book it is inconsequential to this 5-star review. I would have liked to have seen the scripture ahead of the explanation. If you read the explanation first before reading the scripture some things may not be clear. Also, and this is just my preference, I like to read most of my books with Text-to-Speech (TTS). When I enable TTS and it comes to the scripture it reads exactly what is on the screen, thus, it reads the verse number before reading the text. It would be best to remove the verse number for a more smooth reading. As I say, these two criticism does not take away from the 5-stars that I gave it.
I would recommend this book to all those who enjoy Bible Study.
