Sarah Smith is a friend of Lil, the owner of the Gingerbread Café. She has a bookshop in Ashford. Sarah lives for her romance novels. When she needs some more customers she starts writing a blog and because of it sales start to go up very quickly. Sarah has her wonderful friends Missy, Lil and CeeCee, but something is still missing in her life, love. It might be standing on her doorstep in the form of a journalist named Ridge, but she does need to let him in before anything can happen.

I loved Sarah's Bookshop on the Corner. I could totally picture the place complete with the cozy reading space and all the lovely, fluttering books. Books are meant to be treasured and Sarah's shop brings them wonderful new homes. Sarah is living in her own world, which is filled with romance novels. A lot of book lovers are like her, especially the ones whose whole life evolves around books. That made her very believable and extremely endearing. I love how Rebecca Raisin tells her stories, I could almost see myself walking around in the village and I want to visit the bookshop and the café so badly. The characters are all warm and welcoming. I liked Ridge, the mysterious man who suddenly entered Sarah's life. He's a real romance hero. I appreciated the nice twist at the end as well. Rebecca Raisin's novellas are absolutely fantastic!

I love Rebecca's ability to make you feel you are in Ashford. She makes you become one with the characters, their loves and their passion for living in a caring and sharing community. I was bought to the oldie world town of Ashford meeting Lil and Cee Cee in Gingerbread Cafe - was hooked and left wanting more of this town and it's people. Then there was Chocolate dreams and the fun of easter - where we first meet Sarah and the love story of Lil and the newcomer Damon. Now Sarah and her book friends had me right there in the dusty store with that cosy reading corner enjoying and developing her bookstore so that not only the local community enjoyed her books but all who have a love of reading. All she wants is a guy like her book boyfriend and along comes Ridge to tick all the boxes and the girls Missy, Lil and Cee Cee give their full approval and encouragement that true romance is not just in her books it can happen in life. Love the twist at the end and am looking forward to more of Ashford and the coming years.

**I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review**

Well, this is the 2nd time this year I have been sucked into the picture perfect Ashford. The quaint town where not only can you find Lil and CeeCee at the Gingerbread Cafe. Supplying the delicious, sweet treats that had me practically drooling on to my iPad last time. Now we get to lose ourselves in Sarah Smiths bookstore. Chocolate and books are pretty much up the top of my favourite things list, so I'm now in my element moving on to Sarah's story.
Stepping in to the Bookstore is like stepping through the wardrobe and finding Narnia beyond the coats. It's another world within the walls of Sarah's Bookstore. Nothing like any Bookstores you find today when trawling shops. These are the magical gems that pop up once in a blue moon. All of the books in Sarah's store say so much. Not only do they tell their tales, they also talk of the people who once owned them. Sarah has an amazing way of knowing so much about a book, she can picture it's life before it was sitting on her shelf.

"Maybe a customer would stumble across one of them today, run a hand lovingly across their covers, before selecting a book that caught their attention. Though my theory was books chose us, and not the other way around."

Just reading about this amazing bookstore with it's perfect setting and timeless inhabitants, would of been enough to keep me going for the entire story, but it's made all the more enticing in the form of Ridge. Just like the most coveted of book heroes. He's gorgeous, charming and incredibly interested in Sarah. Sarah has always been content in her life with her books and their dreamy, romance. She didn't want for anything else, when she had her books to keep her company.

What an amazing story to lose myself in last evening! I was in love from page one.

I have always had dreams of owning my own little book shop, my little corner of the world where I could mingle with lovely readers and cuddle up with a good book when my shop was empty. That would be HEAVEN.

That is exactly what Sarah Smith's store, The Bookshop On The Corner, is like. It's her little oasis where she can escape to in the early hours of the morning to enjoy a little reading before the store opens and her little peace of paradise where she sells books to like minded bookaholics as herself.

Her genre of choice is Romance, as is mine, and she loves to read about the hero's and dream what it would be like when she met her own one day. Although as of late, she has been of the mindset that won't be happening.

Then one day he walks in...she thought she was dreaming...Ridge was his name and she was falling for him...

The only problem is herself...the ups and downs of their fairytale will have you reading in one sitting...
