An Instant Utensil Upgrade. ModWare is great for toddlers who are not quite ready to rock adult tableware. The soft, comfy grip is part of an overall ergonomic design that makes eating simple. There are no sharp edges to ruin a meal. Bonus: Great for pretend sword fights.

We have been using a similar set of these for the last year, first for feeding our little one and then letting her practice feeding herself. The set here is a little bigger and the neck is not bendable, which is not as useful. They don't hold a lot, but this is a good thing because you don't need a ton of food running all over the place when they are practicing. The length of the utensil is the most useful feature here -- it's a good length from the child's hand to their mouth. Also, kids don't really need to practice stabbing their food with a fork -- it's better practice for them to learn to scoop up their bites carefully and get it into their mouth. We've been very pleased with these and recommend them! The ones with the bendable necks are even better!
My son loves to feed himself and these spoons and sporks are the perfect size for his little hands. The large, flat surface also makes scooping easier for him. Wash up nicely in the dishwasher and have a rubberized handle making them easier to hang on to when the food flies.
Updating review to add that the soft plastic was tempting for my son to chew once he had teeth. The ends look like my dog got a hold of them!
Nice wide mouthed spoons, although pretty shallow, so not good for eating cereal like cheerios because baby cannot keep milk on the spoon. Better for applesauce, yogurt, thick cereal. The forks are useless, they cannot stab anything to be used as a fork, and the slots let liquid fall through. We preferred the Nuby spoon (nice deep spoons) and fork (also not that great as a fork, but at least works partially as a spoon)
I love the colours of the spoons. But this is not very practical, as it is very difficult for a toddler who is learning to self-feed use it. The spoon scoops up too little food at a time, that it frustrates my daughter. The fork is not sharp enough to pick up anything. My daughter has only used it a few times and have given up. Now it just decoration for the kitchen.
Love the looks of these and my 15 month old daughter is trying to get the hang of using them. I like the fact that they aren't sharp so she can't hurt herself but because the form is so rounded it really can't be used to stab food. It's more to teach the concept. Also love the fact that they are dishwasher safe.
I originally bought a single set of these from another store. They have worked wonderfully from about 12 months on. Now my little one is self feeding more with her silverware. I bought this set on Amazon..you can cant beat the price. These wash well and do not show any wear. We love Boon in our house. THE QUALITY IS WORTH THE PRICE!
This set is great for kids to learn to use fork and spoon. They have a soft but firm grip, and the lenght is just right. It really helped my son develope his skills at the table.
these spoons are very flat so doesn't really hold much. the forks just look like forks, but really function as a spoon since you can't pick up anything.
