My issues with this bag, and my reasons for only giving it 2 stars, are the following:
Other than the laptop, there really isn't any room for any large to medium size items. I use this for travel and I have to chose what to leave behind because not everything fits. Of the medium to larger size items that I travel with, there's my laptop, iPad, Bose headphones and a sandwich. Because of the snug design, 2 of those items have to be left behind, or I have to take another bag. And even doing that, the laptop and other item (usually a sandwich which gets mashed like a bent pancake once I zip it up) barely fit. No way will it fit 3 of these items, much less 4 or more.
Another thing that bothers me is that it is very top heavy. When I set it down on the floor, it topples over forward. If I put it on a chair or a counter top, it will fall onto the floor. Thanks to the great protection, nothing happens to my laptop when it falls, but it's annoying that it doesn't stay upright like a normal bag.
Also, it opens awkwardly. It's like I can never really get it to open up all the way because it's too tight.
Furthermore, there are 2 zippered pockets on the sides. Inside each one, there are 2 more pockets (for a total of 4). Good luck getting anything in them. They're just too tight. Same thing goes for the pocket in the front. Too tight to be useful.
Which also leads me to say that all of the pockets in the inside are too tight also. It's hard to get things in and out of them and to see what's in them. Even the laptop is difficult to get out because of the tightness.Read more ›

I've had 2 of these because I love the design that much ... both of their zippers have failed at the same spot after much use (so yes I got value out of the bag). Read morePublished on March 24, 2013 by ChrisO
