5.0 out of 5 starsLuxury item but will make yours and babies life easier in the first few months, highly recommend it

We are only 5 weeks into using it but already the Boppy has proven to be my favorite baby item during the day. It was part of our baby registry and we'd have bought it ourselves if nobody would have gifted it. At night he lays in his bed but during the day he alternates between the bed, the swing, an old fashioned gym and the boppy lounger.
Summary of my Pros:
- baby rests at an angle, keeping head up - excellent for acid reflux and is able to see things differently
- we get very cute face to face time with him on this
- it's MOBILE - so when I have to take a shower, do the laundry, go to friends or family, work on the computer etc. - he moves with me so I can keep an eye vs. the whole Pack N Play
- it's washable (though we've never had a spit up or accident on it so far so I can't comment on stain removal but we've washed it a few times)
- if you're tired you can use it to feed the baby on (we prefer holding him though)
- he simply loves his Boppy
It's not a necessity, neither are items like the Baby Brezza but they are useful and make your life easier. I recommend with 5 stars.
My only con would be that I know he'll outgrow this soon, meaning he'll be able to roll out of it and that limits its use. However, my husband has already stated that it would probably make a for good nap pillow for him so I don't think we'll get rid of it.. Oh and, should you have a cat... lean it upright at night cause it makes a great cat napper too :-)
Update at 5 1/2 month mark: The lounger is still in daily use, though feet now hang over he still wants to take his bottle in the pillow, and he goes to sleep on it every evening before we transfer him to bed. Despite now being capable of rolling out of it, he will only slide out of it on the bottom. It's been washed many times and still looks like brand new.
6/30/2016 update: Though long walking now, he will still retreat to his pillow to lay and investigate things and/or to drink his bottle of milk. Only half of him can now fit in the pillow. When he's not in it our cat found this to be quite comfortable too so it got washed many, many times now and still looks excellent (except the labels which are fading).
