This book gives a wealth of information that would have taken us hours if not days to find by ourselves. It is written into easy-to-understand, completely helpful sections.
We found the information about accommodations and the Sample Itinerary to be most helpful. It is a well thought-out plan to make the most of a very limited time. And though, we didn’t exactly follow it, we used it as basis for our own itinerary… we just rearranged the activities.
There is also information on the Emergency Services on the island. And though this is something that you’d wish you wouldn’t use, having it handy is sure to give you the peace of mind that you need to enjoy your well-deserved vacation.
We sincerely thank the author for making our trip a success. We’ll be keeping an eye out for his next Travel Guide.
When traveling especially to a place I haven’t been before, one of my major concerns is always finding the most reliable service. So it is very helpful that this guide included the best options for me – from the hotels to the activities to the attractions. And I love that it includes contact information and emergency numbers. You’ll never know when you will be needing them right? The sample itinerary is also perfect especially for those who have limited time and don’t know what to do first.
One thing though that I would like to see more in this travel guide is graphics. It would be more exciting to read it if there are more pictures. Also, the layout is quite dull. I suggest having a more unconventional and fun layout that will break the monotony so that reading it will be more enjoyable.
All in all, I find this guide very helpful. It not only gave me an overview but also detailed information on how I will plan my trip to Boracay.
The worst of the worst: The so called "travel coordinators" mentioned in the book are just simply touts that try to rip off every tourist that comes along.
You get better and more reliable information from any website. So save your money, because google is your friend.
This one is great! It's short precise and to the point.
If you need your quick fix info without being afraid to miss out on anything, this guide is for you!
