Border Field Blues borrowed from Wambaugh's Last of Gunslingers very nicely and wove an amazing plot of immigrants, musicians, computer game playing geeks, rednecks and more.
Maybe you can see it coming, but I didn't. Entertaining for me until the final paragraph. Only wish Corey would turn out two books a year.

Fayman's attention to detail is impressive, and the book kept my anxiety at attention (in a good way.) Interesting characters, great dialog, solid story- this book has it all. I tip my hat to Fayman- Rolly rocks, in more ways than one.
