Borderlands 2 goty edition for the Xbox 360 it's perfect! Yes it comes with 2 Discs. Disc 2 contains All the dlc excluding the Headhunter DLCs and the ultimate Vault hunter 2 Digistruct peak DLC. It's worth noting that the DLCs are onansecond disc because I was worried that I would end up with a code slip but apparently all copies were packaged with 2 Discs because they realized some people might not have wifi and wouldn't be able to download the dlc .

I ended up buying this game years after release because it just didn't seem interesting when I first saw it.

I was wrong and I'm sorry.

Pros
1. Long story with a lot of action.
2. Goofy, fun-to-love NPCs (and many characters from the first one, I'm told) help keep the story interesting.
3. Boat loads of awesome looking weapons.
4. Co-op (both online and offline)
5. <3 me some RPG elements
6. Colorful and unique graphics. They're not going for the realism or anything here. Very cartoony and it's refreshing.
7. $100 in DLC is awesome.

Cons
1. Some game glitches. I was getting game crashes when I drove a vehicle into a certain spot on the map (had to get out and hoof it, now I'm scared to go driving again).
2. The graphics take a little getting used to. The colors tend to blend together and it makes it occasionally hard to focus on things. The first few times playing it gave me a headache but I got used to it.

It's an awesome game and this is an awesome value (with the DLC). Worth owning.

There are a ton of reviews for this game, so I won't go into depth when you can find more here. I will just give my opinion.

Fast, furious, and funny as hell. Borderlands 2 is a fantastic game! It is by far the premiere social FPS/RPG out there. The GotY edition ups the ante with the Expansions(very good!), extra gear(it's poop), New classed(decent), and skins(meh).

The first two times through the game, and expansions are excellent. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, is the best DLC I have ever played. The game expands. BUT. But, the game falls off. The same repetitive missions, just new ones to play eleventy billion times. You still need to have other players. You can't solo anything and it just makes the game tedious.

The game gets 3 stars for being Borderlands 2 + extras. It gets the 2 extra conditional stars if you have people to play with. Then the fun don't stop. If your friends are tired of it, you are left with a bunch of extras that are played once and forgotten.

The Borderlands 2 GOTY edition has enough content to keep the devoted Borderlands player busy for many, many hours. I have played over 300 hours in the game and still have more to do. Obviously you can spend a lot less time in the game or a lot more depending on what you want to get out of it. That's one of the positives of the game.

Game play, graphics and leveling are all very similar to Borderlands. Obviously so is the loot mechanic. The voice acting and story are pretty good. I found the end story boss battle a little bit of a let down but that leads into some of the negatives of this game.

This game obviously cannot match the freshness that Borderlands had because it is a sequel. This one feels like it is very much designed for co-op play as you can easily get into areas that you cannot progress through alone without some grinding to level up. Many of the quests feel like busy work and some become downright tedious, going back and forth into the same area multiple times.

Final complaint is the loot, it is very very difficult to get decent loot drops. Possible because of the key system that Gearbox introduced where you can get and redeem codes to open a chest in the main town. The drops out of this chest are always your best bet to find equipment that can either break the game as they overpower your character or allow you to stay alive in the all too frequent areas that you may find yourself if you try to tackle quests one after another without grinding out any experience.

Overall Borderlands 2 is a fun game that brings much more of the same. The changes that Gearbox made probably make this a better co-op experience than a single player game but it is certainly possible to play through the game solo. It's worth picking up the Game of the Year edition especially now that the price has come way down.

My son received this game from me two weeks ago- a reward for a report card with nothing but "A"'s on it - and I haven't seen much of him since. He loves it... a nifty plot line (evil dictator controls wilderness planet, and the colonists have descended into "Mad Max" style savagery), well-executed action, excellent layouts and backgrounds, a nifty cell-animation style that gives the game a very unique "look"- and guns. Lots and lots of guns that do all types of things; guns that explode when you use the last round, guns that reload themselves, guns with sights so advanced that they talk to you. This is NOT an easy game, nor should you give it to anybody with OCD. The planet Pandora is not for those squeamish about pulling a trigger - players are expected to survive hostile native lifeforms, crazed former colonists, local warlords, lethal robotic enforcers and the planet's charming but totally ruthless dictator, Handsome Jack. There's two multi-player options - I've played it, and would recommend it to any parent or player with fast reflexes and nerves of steel.

It sounds great.
The game.
All that awesome DLC,
Except NONE OF THAT AWESOME DLC WILL WORK.
Everything I have tried, the game acts as if the dlc is NOT purchased and NOT installed.
But it is installed, from the second disc.
It even shows up in my disc storage.
But it will NOT WORK.
And I have contacted the company to no avail.
If anyone knows any tricks, AND I can get it to work, then Ill upgrade and change my review.

Otherwise, THIS IS TRASH, and IS BEING RETURNED,
