LOVE these glasses. I was out for lunch when the server brought this simple, but modern looking glass filled with cold water. I thought they would be perfect for home. I inquired if he knew what brand it was, since there was no label or stamp on the glass itself. He returned shortly with a small slip of paper that had the name of the restaurant, the manufacturer and the style. (They must get that inquiry a lot!)

I ordered them via Prime from my phone app in the restaurant. They arrived at my home in 2 days, packed perfectly - not a single chip.

I've had them about a week now and enjoy them every time I use one!

PRO - Came well packaged and no breakage. The glass is thin and clear, and is relatively resistant to chips and breakage. Holds about 17oz. Tapered design allows them to be stacked.

CON - The large diameter might be difficult to hold in a small hand. The stacked glasses can stick together and break if forced apart, but run warm water over the outside glass to un-stick without breakage.

Just right size and shape. Holds 17 oz (one ounce more than a taller, thinner beer glass). Because of the lower height and slightly greater girth, twice as many glasses fit in the cabinet. Easy to handle, stable on the table, unobtrusive, perfect for all drinks - even when only filled halfway. Glass thickness is comfortable holding and drinking.

I threw away all of my old glasses and bar ware and replaced them with the multipurpose Bodega Tumblers in three sizes.

The "mini" works for wine, small cocktails, martinis, champagne, and even for serving deserts, snacks, etc. The medium size is great for water and larger cocktails. The maxi is great for beer, icy drinks, etc.

They're durable, well-designed, and look more expensive than they are. And I have a lot more room now in my cabinets. How great is that?

I have purchased these glasses to try them out first. I like them so much I ordered more to complete the set.
This last order 2 of the glasses where scratched so I had to through them away. Too bad.

These are good basic glasses. The problem is Bormioli Rocco claims they are tempered. They are not (or at least not properly). Tempered glass is much stronger than normal glass. These break easily (we ordered two sets, a medium and a maxi -- one had a glass broken out-of-the-box, and the other had one broken less than a week after we opened them). Tempered glass also breaks into small, safe pieces, and shatters as a whole. These break into large pieces (I can't tell if they're any less dull, but one of my housemates claims they are), and they do not shatter as a whole (the entire base was left on the one we broke).

My brother acted as if he had been recently knighted the Duke of Glass Break in 2013, so I bought him these to replace the set that he'd destroyed. 2 years later, and I am very proud to say that these glasses are still intact. Maybe he tired of his clumsiness (actually I just met him at the hospital a few hours ago after he took a spill, so maybe not). Or maybe these glasses are really just that durable. They are a very classy looking set and they are lovely. Definitely recommend
