Really reasonable for the price! Heavy solid glass ware, with a beautiful blue splash of color in it. I love the uneven (though fully rounded!) lip of the glasses. They look far more expensive than they are.

Came well packaged and none were broken. Would recommend and buy again.

Edited to add: it's almost a year later and we use them all the time when company comes over, and we often get compliments on them. I always put them in the dishwasher and it's been perfectly fine. I bought 8 originally and I think they've been a terrific find.

My husband and I have somehow been able to chip or break every type of glasswear we've ever had. We've had these glasses since November and they are still in perfect shape due to the thickness of the glass. They look really nice, like something you'd see in a restaurant, and the size is just perfect. They are also very comfortable to hold.

Update: It's June now and they are still in great shape - not one chip or crack!

Nov. 2011 update: We've had these glasses for a year now and use them every day. They still don't have one chip or crack in them and are as beautiful as the day we received them.

Aug. 2012 - still in perfect shape!

These beautiful, artisan-like glasses will not dissappoint. They are substantial in quality, a bit unusual with distinct color and irregular hand-crafted design. Wonderfully affordable. Be sure to purchase this size and not the 9 oz. I have both and these offer that little extra room that the smaller size does not. Great for citrus martinis as the citrus pulp from lime or lemon does not show through the glass.
Top-notch :)

I cannot believe the quality and beauty of the Bormioli Rocco Murano beverage glasses -- and at such a super price. If you like a bit of the unusual with 100% quality - do not hesitate to order these. You will not be disappointed. C

I really like these glasses. Very heavy, thick glass--not the too-thin, fragile ones you would be afraid to touch. However, they are not 14 7/8 oz. as listed. They barely hold a 12 oz beer. Good beer glasses, tho. Very wide glasses--not for people with small hands.

Amazon or Bormioli claims that these are "gift boxed"! They are not "gift boxed" at all, unless you consider a cheap little box that products are normally purchased in "gift boxed".

Onto the GOOD... These are beautiful as every other reviewer before me has stated. They are not tall glasses which I prefer, but will hold an ample amount. They are heavy and feel wonderul in your hand (big or small). The color is a gorgeous understated blue and there is variation from one glass to the next. One thing that motivated me to make the purchase was the hammered texture. We currently have clear smooth glasses and every fingerprint, lip print and anything else that you can imagine shows on them. It becomes rather disgusting especially when dealing with pulp. For those that aren't aware as of yet, the top of the glass or lip is uneven going all around, which makes it appear even more handcrafted and expensive. If you do not like natural variation, an uneven lip and prefer cookie cutter perfection; then these beauties are not for you!

Highly recommend for their weight and beauty that can make them become family heirlooms.

A few years ago, I found small pale green versions of this at a discount store. I "googled" Bormioli until I found these and ordered lots of them in this size and the smaller size, too. They are thick, about 1/4" but not overly heavy - very comfortable in the hand. I use the smaller ones for stemless wine glasses (just like in Italy:) and the larger for water and hot tea and anything and everything! They really don't have a machine-made feel - except for the Bormioli stamp on the bottom, you would think they were made by a glassblower since each one is unique. Kosta Boda makes a much more expensive and much less attractive version of this! These are sparkly, the KB ones are dull-looking. Get lots of them, you will want to have enough of them for a lifetime.

Nice very thick glass - my wife and children have yet to chip or break one yet. They're definitely as beautiful as you think they are, and a good size. Highly recommend.
