Now You Hear "Click", Now You Don't!
I got this mouse from another website during promotion. My girlfriend always complains when I play games at night because she'd get annoyed of my non-stop clicking on the mouse. (ahem! LoL) So to stop "annoying" her, I had to find a solution. And boy was I glad I found this mouse! Just check out my video and turn up your volume, you'll "hear" the difference. This mouse is REALLY LIGHT. Great for traveling! The only con for this mouse is that it doesn't have the side buttons. But since I only use it when I play games instead of browsing the web. I guess it won't matter too much to me.(Just fyi, the other mouse in the video is Logitech MX Anywhere Mouse)

I bought this mouse almost 2 months ago, and have been using it for roughly 6 hours on a daily basis.

It is very quiet. I can just barely hear the click when I press it in silence. Assuming that a regular mouse's loudness is around 10/10, this mouse is around 2/10. The wheel is a bit louder, but is still around 4-5/10.

Given its low price, I had suspected its durability. For example, some cheap mice experience stiff or unresponsive buttons, or random double clicks, and unpredictable scrolling speed. I have so far experienced none of that with this mouse.

Up to this point, my mouse has run on a single set of batteries: the 2 batteries that came with it. I do usually turn the mouse off after use, but still, that's at least 6 hours per day x 57 days of battery life (I say "at least" because it is still in prefect working condition now). No other wireless mouse I owned even came close to this.

For a few months I'm going to be in a triple office. You really have no idea how loud a mouse is until you have three of them clicking away. The Silent Mouse really helps out. If you're in a completely silent room, you can hear a very soft click, and the wheel is not completely silent either, but it's 99% better than a regular mouse. I now can also bring my laptop to meetings and not be disturbing with my click-click-click. The mouse tracks well and seem to have better precision than my old run of the mill Logitech.

The only thing I could complain about is that the mouse it a bit big for my small hands, but not uncomfortably so.

Edit: After 15 months my office Bornd is still going strong, so I decided I wanted one for home too. The first one shipped died after a few days. Returned . The second one shipped had a louder click than a regular mouse. Returned. I just ordered my third one, so we'll see how it goes.
Edit 2: All good with the third one. Must have been a bad lot.

This is my second Bornd silent mouse. I bought my first a couple years ago and it worked exactly as advertised, exactly as shown in the top video from user Jayce L. It is extremely quiet and extremely comfortable, the absolute perfect fit for my hand. In fact I would go as far as saying it is the best and most comfortable mouse I've ever used. I loved this mouse. As a programmer I used it constantly over the past two years. Unfortunately the contacts eventually started to wear out over the past few weeks and it became picky about detecting button clicks, so I decided to replace it with a new one.

What a horrible mistake it was to trust this manufacturer a second time. In just two years the concept of "silent" has become a lie the manufacturer now foists upon us customers, assuming we are too stupid or gullible to tell the difference! How they can honestly claim to provide a near-silent mouse now completely baffles me, because the mouse sounds exactly like a normal loud mouse. Trust the recent reviews that say it is useless, they are correct. I should have listened!

Since the top video shows a comparison of the Bornd mouse of two years ago to a normal mouse, I uploaded my own video showing the same Bornd mouse from two years ago compared to the one I received yesterday. The difference is shocking and clear. In the video I taped the USB dongle onto the older mouse so you can tell which is which. You can clearly tell the new one sounds just like a regular desktop mouse.

Personally I find it insulting that the manufacturer actually believes it can blatantly lie to customers like this. This is truly unfortunate because they had a fantastic product. I was a very happy owner of the previous mouse and routinely recommended it to friends and colleagues who in turn bought one and loved it. This piece of junk will be returned immediately. What a ripoff.

I have a Bornd brand mouse that I really like because it is extremely silent and doesn't have any of the twitchiness or glitchiness I have experienced with other brands of silent mice. When I felt the right click button start to stick I wanted to replace it with an identical model, but Bornd must have switched manufacturers or something, because their new models are not silent at all. When I got one in the mail I started opening the package, but found out halfway through that the click wasn't silent at all. I couldn't believe it. I sat there with my new one right next to my old one, and there is a world of difference. I can't hear my old one at all when I click, but the new one I had ordered sounded just as loud as any other mouse out there. I started reading some reviews including one video review which confirmed what I was seeing, but I figured I would give it one more chance since I like my current Bornd mouse so much. Sure enough, when the new one got here I didn't even have to open the package, I could hear the clicking through the plastic. It's too bad Bornd forgot how to make silent mice, or somehow put them in the wrong packaging or something. Not cool.
