Ms. Rebecca J. Clark is a new author to me. This book is fabulous! I thoroughly enjoyed her characters. The two main characters fell in love, of course, and then later, how Zach found out about the duplicity was wonderfully written. The secondary characters were totally believable. His family acted exactly as we expect a wealthy bunch to act. Reading about them was very entertaining.

The book flowed smoothly and was definitely a page turner. I could not put it down. How they went from "secret discovered" to "happily ever after" was uniquely written and a pleasure to read.

I love this book and highly recommend it to everyone. The sensuality was intense but it was not too graphic. Great job, Ms. Clark! I look forward to more from this author. -Brenda Talley

Sometimes a reviewer is lucky enough to read a story that introduces them to an author who makes a lasting impression. Perhaps the voice is unique, or maybe the characters are original and unforgettable. Rebecca J. Clark relates both of those things, but even more importantly, she manages to combine humor with so much emotion you can't decide whether it's best to giggle in glee or choke on your heart.

The premise of Borrowed Stilettos is enough to maintain an interest - twin sisters exchange places in order to initiate a break-up. Ava is everything Audrey isn't - sophisticated, superficial, and materialistic. So pretending to be her for a weekend to end her relationship with the devilishly handsome playboy, Zach, is quite a pill to swallow. To complicate matters further, Audrey never expects to fall for a man who is not her type; yet, she cannot seem to help herself. Meanwhile, the woman Zach brings home to meet his parents isn't the one he's become accustomed to. Sure she's a bombshell and easy on the eyes, but instead of a self-assured and confident woman, she's suddenly become snarky and quick-witted. Off kilter at her newfound attitude, he continues forward with his plan to deceive and disrupt his parent's idealistic views by proposing to a woman they cannot stand.

As two plans unwittingly merge, Audrey and Zach find themselves caught in an undeniable chemistry that cannot be contained. Each new encounter lifts the stakes and increases the tension. You know that it cannot end well, even as Audrey pretends to be someone she isn't and Zach tries to deny the way he feels about a woman who is anything but what she seems. It's a winding rollercoaster of deceit, passion, and desire.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be a twin? What if you were the
good twin who always gets stuck with the dirty work? This is the story of AUDREY and AVA - twins who couldn't be any more different. AUDREY is the good girl, the Jr High Teacher, while AVA is the adventurous high-flying flight attendant. Switching places might be fun, especially if it's a pretty safe bet you won't get caught...
Read this story for some fun and games as AUDREY and Zach get to know each other and AVA stays home. Will there be a happy ending? No spoiler alerts here...you'll have to read it for yourself. Enjoy!

I loved this book so much. Audrey was the funniest, silliest, sweetest, and most imaginative character. The scenes with Zach's family had me laughing so hard, and certain phrases keep sneaking up to get my funny bone going again and again. Sure, this story has been done before but not with this twist. This will be my go to book when I need a good laugh and a sweet romance.

This was a cute book - but predictable story line. No twists and turns which I prefer. Not a lot of character development and at times I had trouble figuring out who was talking, Ava or Audrey. It is a light, easy read story with a HEA ending. If you want a book that you can sit back and enjoy - no deep thinking or cliff hangers this ones for you.
