The saw delivers precise, dependable results. An up-front bevel lock lever and range selector knob are easy to access for quick and accurate bevel settings. Its visible bevel and miter scales, and a miter detent override, make for quick angle setting and adjustments. The saw offers bevel stops and detents at 0, 33.9, and 45 degrees on the left and right.
Multiple Miter Detents for Precise Angles
A wedge-and-slot miter detent system ensures consistent and precise miter angles, and a dual sliding rail design provides accuracy cut after cut. The miter angle range features 52 degrees on the left and 60 degrees on the right, while meter detents appear at 0, 15, 22.5, 31.6, and 45 degrees on the left and right (and at 60 degrees on the right only). A 31.6-degree miter and 33.9-degree bevel detents allow for quick, accurate crown cuts.
The Bosch Dual-Bevel Slide Miter Saw is backed by a manufacturer's one-year limited warranty.

1. The stock blade is junk. Buy a nice blade to replace it with your purchase.
2. Adjusting the side to side bevel to square isn't as easy as the directions make it out to be. Make sure everything is loose and be patient with the adjustment screw otherwise you will strip it. It could have just been me, but it was a pain in the ... to asjust is 2 degrees. It did not arrive adjusted, so check it before you use.
The disclaimer: I am not a professionsal, but I do use the saw almost daily. I will NEVER buy another miter saw as this is above and beyond the quality and capability I could ever need. I have also gone from entry level saws to this (Ryobi/Craftsman to Bosch). I hope this helps.
The pros... It is incredibly powerful, and gives a huge cutting width (in comparison to my existing mitre saw). It is also very easy to adjust. As shown in the video all the controls are up front, so there is no reaching around, you lift a clip and can move everything in all directions which is really nice.
If you are a DIY guy, who occasionally needs to make cuts more than 10" then I am not sure it is worth the extra size and weight to lug around. Don't get me wrong, it is a great saw, I just think I got too much saw for what I need :-) It needs about 3 feet of counter/space back to front when using for full sliding cuts, so you will need a big shop to set it up properly..
Did not opt for the laser as my other stuff (delta) the laser was too weak for sunlight.
Slide seems to be working far better than THE BAD REVIEWS OF OTHER SAWS.
Any side movement you can feel on the stopped blade down side edge is not only bad but unacceptable.
This is where you come up with the lesser of evils as there will be a point in the life of a blade where it will want to walk and rock solid fixings and bearings prevent walking and loss of performance.
I need to cut 4 x 8 and 4 x 12 beams and this is the largest saw I CAN LIFT that will even begin to do that.
