Customer reviews

Can one be in love with a stove? Well I act like it, just gazing at it with hearts in my eyes. I read review after review on all sites, and called Bosch before buying it, just to make sure that they'd fix the loud oven fan. Well, first of all, once it was installed and operating, I tried to decipher the source of a whispery sound heard and suddenly realized that it was the oven fan - so it's barely audible. Oven fan sound apparently is no longer a problem. The stove is beautiful to look at and minus the clunky rear panel of most American made stoves, allows for a more open feeling in my small kitchen and even some art on the wall. I've put up with cheapo Kenmore and GE stoves for years and years. They were reliable for sure, but the burners would click and click filling the kitchen with gas until they'd catch with a small explosion and there was always a gap between stovetop and counter that allowed for the collection of years' worth of gunk, unreachable by any kind of cleaning implement I could find. I just figured it was something I had to put up with. Well...NO MORE. The burners pop right on and the dials are incredibly sensitive. Just a touch and the flame is at the level I was seeking. And the stove has a stainless steel lip on either side that fits right over the counter so that there is no gap at all, as it accomplishes the built-in look as promised. No more digging out popcorn kernels and attempting to clean up spilled spaghetti sauce from a mini chasm, but chasm, nevertheless! Yay! And as you can see from the photos, the oven baked two perfect loaves of bread, my big first test. So far, so reliable. Just make sure before buying that your counters and stove will match height-wise. As one who has always loved to cook, my only regret is that I didn't recognize years ago that buying higher end appliances was well worth the investment! This one is for sure!
