So, it's heavy. But, it opens and closes easily and smoothly with one hand. You can easily bring it up on its wheels and get it moving without a fuss. It stores solidly laying flat or upright (I wouldn't travel it upright just for the saw's sake).
It's really solidly designed, and the outriggers provide additional functionality and material handling for the saw. Gotta love a well designed product that is solidly engineered and does what it is supposed to do. Yes...I heard it's heavy. It has wheels. Get over it.
If I was loading this into the back of a pickup I think I'd probably go with one of the lighter non-rolling stands just because if you ever had to lift this stand even without the saw on it I'd much rather have one of the folding leg versions like the Dewalt Heavy Duty stand. If you had a ramp into a work truck or were just moving it around a work shop then absolutely the rolling stand is the way to go. Even stairs this certainly would go down stairs but I think I'd rather just carry a much lighter folding stand in those situations. For me I'm just moving it around my shop and it makes it very handy on my bad back not to have to pick it up to move it around.
But it is very - very convenient - in all of it's aspects. For me worth every penny.
If there's an unfortunate, it came without operating or installation manual. I spread it out on the garage floor looked at the picture and put it together.
When assembling note that there are 17mm bolts with locking nuts that should not be tightened/torgued down as those joints swivel to allow the cart to fold and unfold
Conclusion: you want something compact that works, this is the one
Mounting saws to it will vary depending on the brand. I have a 12in Hitachi that doesn't quite line up with the rails provided. This creates a slight 'out of square' position of the saw relative to the table and the extending arms. Cutting long material results in only a small area of contact between the arm at full extension and the work-piece.
The rails that your saw will mount to (blue bars on table in picture) assumes that the mounting holes in the saw will be inline with each other front to back. If your saw does not have mounting holes like that, you might consider another saw or deal with the slight out of square that I have. I'm not a professional and might use my set-up a couple times a year so I just deal.
The table raises and collapses with ease with its scissoring motion and the table lock when engaged gives the stand a nice solid platform from which too work. Extending the arms is a breeze with simple turn style knobs and the height adjustment for work piece support is just as easy.
