A must to get the best sound out of your Bose speakers. These stands will keep the speaker from projecting sound onto the surface they are setting on and having it redirected to who knows where. They look awesome and fit many different Bose speaker models. The Instructions on assembly are somewhat confusing until you decipher which speaker they are intending your assembly for. The Bose 321 system kinda fits when you try ti hide the wires in the stand. Requires some disassembly before reassembling. It got a bit confusing. They are very sturdy and do not add much to the footprint of the speaker without the stand. A bit pricey at [...] bucks apiece, but worth the investment in terms of sound quality and aesthetics. Hard to find used since people that have them want to keep them.

Assembly is not so fun! Review the instructions first and be aware they cover several different types of Bose speakers. Make sure you find the correct installation instructions. It's ALL pictures so you don't have to know how to read.

There is a screw hidden under a removable cover plate that attach the rod to the speaker. The cover plate comes off with great difficulity I found out. It snaps on very tight so it will require some effort to remove it.

Once you get past this part...it's a cakewalk the rest of the way... but follow the instructions!!!

The stands are high quality and very sturdy. They are a Bose product... the best!

...somewhat tough to set up correctly. Once put together however they look good and help the sound quality vs. the speakers just sitting on top of the cabinet.

this has to be the worst of all installations, i have installed tv stands, tables etc before, but man, this will get you annoying to the core.I don't understand what Bose is really trying to do, put a test to a customer? I know pictures speak more than words, but the instruction manual will drive you crazy, just figures. Why can't they come up with a simpler design? It took me an hour to figure out, make sure the black cover is removed at the end of the stem that connects the base to the speaker, my table stands came with the cover capped at the end of the stem, so I just had no clue, but finally i got it. Follow these steps: 1. Remove the center lid in the base first. 2. Pull the red black wire into it,remove the screw at the tip of the stem and insert the stem into the notch on the base and screw it back, this will get you the base and stem ready.3.Now put the center lid back on the base and pull the wire all along the groove of the stem. 4.At the end of the stem, on the metal part you will find two screws, one horizontal and one vertically placed. Leave the vertical one just like that and unscrew the horizontal screw. 5. Now pull the wire above the vertical screw and loop it back in to the hole downwards so that the vertical screw is under the wire .Now when you look, the wire should be running from behind the screw and going above the screw to run downwards in front of the screw. 6. On the other end, you now have the red black wire ready to insert into the speaker, align it rightly in to the speaker holes . Now put the black tab on the speaker, align the horizontal screw in to the hole in the speaker with the red black wire already in the speaker and screw. All set.

Highly recommend this item for your speakers. BUT--read the assembly instructions carefully because it can be confusing since it gives set up instructions for several different speakers.

First time I've found anything confusing about a Bose product.

Heavy, solid, well built. Hides he cables and looks great. I use these for my Bose GS II.

They come with rubber bottoms you can attach to protect your entertainment system and prevent the speakers from moving.

The stands fit the bill perfectly for me. I used them for a Cinemate II system and they do require a bit of changing to the hardware to make it work. The instructions are very clear and the assembly is very easy.

Bose Quality at a Bose Price, there aren't many other options that raise the speakers so little.

Just installed these yesterday. The instructions consist of pictures and are pretty poor. You'll most likely end up having to assemble, disassemble and reassemble once you figure it out. Also, in my opinion the stands are just plain ugly. On the plus side, I did notice an improvement in sound quality since the speakers are no longer just sitting on my tv stand with the sound just ricocheting off the flat surface. This alone outweighs the cons I guess.
