This story continues with Farren and Rogan. Farren is still her independent, untrusting self, loving technology and overanalyzing. She now loves her son dearly, and that was a great addition to the story. Rogan is still her boss, and he cares about her more than ever. Gramma is featured more in this story, which I liked, and the pasts of both of come together in a surprise that I liked and also groaned about just a little once I realized what was about to happen. It gave good closure to both, and they finally were more open with one another about their pasts, which 8was so glad to see.
Normally, after reading the ending with a great epilogue like this story had, I'm ready to give five stars. This time I'm not, mostly because of the amount of angst and drama in this story. The story was paced well, didn't have any grammar mistakes, and sucked me right in. It kept me gripped throughout, and if you liked the first book, then you'll like this book as well. If you like a lot of drama and angst, then you'll love this book. Personally, I felt it was little too much, but that's just me. I still really liked the book, but didn't love it as I thought I would. Either way, if you read the first book, do yourself a favor and read this book. You won't be disappointed!
I very much enjoyed seeing the continuation of Farren and Rogan's story. I did, however, want to smack a character or two in the process.

*I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
Farren seems to be going through a post partum depression. She feels that she and Rogan are drifting apart.
She imagines that Rogan doesn't want her anymore. And then in walks in someone from her past.
Rogan will do anything for Farren if only she'll listen. The person who enters her life from the past could cause an end to them.
I am leaving an honest review after having received a ARC copy.
Enjoyed the book and hope there is more to the series.
