Bossy Billionaire : A Hero Club Novel (Cocky Billionaire Shared World Series) Kindle Edition
Maya's reputation precedes her on and off the screen. As the host of Spotlight with Maya, it’s her job to take people to task and hold them accountable, but when billionaire banker turned candidate, Ethan West, sits on her proverbial couch, sparks fly in more ways than one.
They both try and prove the other wrong throughout the campaign, but a past ex's and a one night stand may cause more drama than neither one wanted to see.
Find out what happens when two alpha personalities collide! Will their rift end his campaign, or will it be the beginning of something much, much bigger, like romance?
These two give each other the perfect blend of push and pull with plenty of scorching heat.
Holy hotness is right. Ethan West is just that.
It was fun watching two people who didn't do love fall in love.
Intense, emotional, broken heart-stopping love story. Grabbed my heart.

These two head strong ones were actually a match and I honestly didn't see it as the book started. The author did a really good job of bringing each of them closer to the other and for it to flow naturally. As with Gage and Nina, I felt there was some minor details missing, yet that's more me wanting ALL the details😏.
When I thought Maya was about to just run off, I was like OMG, no she isn't 😮😬. Yet, Ethan said 'Not so fast, lover' 😏. I loved it.
I enjoyed all of the relationships in the book and how hard Soraya went for her BFF. She was playing no games with Ethan, campaign or not.
I would love to get a story on Nicole or Marcus, either apart or together, so I plan on keeping an eye out for their stories.
Highly suggest this series. Really Good read.
I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.
Bossy Billionaire has such a strong, fun premise. but like so many other recent books in this collection, I feel like the authors are rushing and not taking the necessary time for character or story development. Ethan and Maya have such an incredible opportunity for passion and chemistry and explosiveness, but it all just sort of fizzled for me. Neither character was particularly likable for me, and not relatable at all. They each had their own agenda, putting them at odds with one another, but the natural chaos and spark that we would expect from that never really came to fruition. I will say it again - I felt like everything was rushed. Ethan didn't have enough time to conclude one part of his life before embarking on another, and Maya just never clicked with me. Short, fast read. That is a big part of the problem, lack of development. I hope that Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward take a look at this and do whatever is needed to make sure these new releases in the Hero Club Collection are up to their standards - the first round was so good, but they are getting more hit or miss as it goes on.
I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Maya Armstrong, hosts her own TV talk show, Spotlight with Maya, it’s her job to take people to task and hold them accountable, but when billionaire banker turned candidate, Ethan West, sits on her proverbial couch, sparks fly in more ways than one.
What will happen when two alpha personalities collide? Will their rift end his campaign, or will it be the beginning of something much, much bigger, like romance?
Now Ethan isn't a bad man. He knows what he wants and he makes himself clear. Unfortunately not everyone gets the memo's and this cause of the drama in the book. Ethan is torn between everything that is going on his life and Maya enters the picture as well at the wrong time but Ethan can't just get her out of his head .
Maya is a mutual friend of his friends and wants him on her show. She is a successful TV host of her own day time show and wants to be top of her game .
It's a male dominated world and Maya wants to do it her way. Not relying on other but hard work and it something that makes Ethan take a second look at her when they finally met.
As these two have attraction but both are wanting to play games. As Ethan is middle of damage control, he decides to kill two birds with one stone. He isn't beating around the bush and these two are quickly heating up as the political campaign hits.
But behind all the glitz and glamour , these two are treading around the attraction and the chemistry. Is there really a future for them all things considered?
This is fast and furious. The romance was hot and heavy pretty quickly considering that Ethan had romantic drama still happening. I enjoyed Dennie's second contribution to the Cocky World and I love the connections between the books.
