Great product - when it doesn't arrive in pieces...
I wish I could provide two ratings - one for how the product works (5 stars) and one for the product I received today (no stars). The beat up box that arrived today had a partially torn off clearance label from a store within the TJ Maxx chains (yes, I'm a regular shopper and recognized it). When I opened the box, one stopper appeared to be fine but the other stopper was in pieces. I've contacted Amazon customer service.As far as how these work, let me just share that I have used these for sparkling wines and they've kept a strong carbonation for well over a week. It may have lasted even longer but the wine has never around long enough to know!

Finding a great bottle stopper for champagne or Prosecco is tough. But, these are amazing. They hold tight and there's no more explosions with the bottle stopper shooting to the ceiling in the middle of the night like with other brands. A bottle of Prosecco will stay fresh for 4 days with this stopper. These are truly the best.

I wish I had read all of the one star reviews before I purchased these stoppers! Apparently, things aren't made like they used to be. I was given an Oggi stopper as a gift over a decade (maybe two!) ago, and it has worked perfectly every time. When I was looking for a stocking stuffer gift for a friend, I was so excited to see that what appeared to be the identical stopper was still available. Well . . . we tried one stopper in a bottle of champagne, and it snapped in two - sending champagne squirting up to the ceiling. No big deal, I thought, every manufacturer has a defective product now and then. But, no, the exact same thing happened with the second stopper. Thankfully, it wasn't very expensive champagne, but still, a disappointing outcome from a product I had trusted for decades.
