Nikos is the last living heir to the Panos empire. Isolated and alone since he was left disfigured, he’s hoping that a son will help ease the guilt he has felt for the past five years and allow him to move on with his life. When choosing the appropriate woman to carry the next heir to the Panos legacy, he was pleasantly surprised when he found that one greatly resembled his late wife. But when they meet for the first time, he starts to wonder if being around a woman who looks so much like Elsa was a good idea.
While their initial interaction was laced with tension, there is no denying the chemistry that neither is quick to confess. On a remote island in Greece as the backdrop for much of this story, it will be impossible to deny the feelings that both are quickly developing.
wanted to be doctors so the funds were for this purpose. The h was attending college in Atlanta and all was going well until the prospective single dad said he would like his son to be born in Greece. There lies the problem as the h did not want to go.
Read the book and you will find out how she was persuaded to go.
This book was absolutely GREAT. The h was one of the strongest h I have read in the PRESENT LINE and don't get me wrong the H was the typical handsome billionaire but he could not out talk this heroine. READ THE BOOK!
In my opinion she was the hunter and he the hunted! She gave him "hell" This was no wimpy heroine instead she was poor but strong ,confident, and beautiful. If you wanted angst and instant chemistry it's there multipled by ten.
I bought this book late Sunday night and said I'll read a couple chapters but I could not put the book down believe me I tried as a result I was very sleepy at work the next day
I recommend this book and if there were more stars I would give it , as it was refreshing. I just wish the Present line would give more confident and educated heroine
JP a job well done as result I have checked out a few of your previous books.
Keep them coming just like this
Georgia lost her parents, and baby sister a few years ago. Now she is responsible for her sister Savannah. The two are really close. It's up to Georgia to figure out a way to pay to put both herself, and her sister through college school. Georgia wants to be a doctor, and medical school is not cheap. When she is asked to be a surrogate for a Greek tycoon, she said yes. The payment would be enough to take care of her sister, and pay for both to finish college.
The emotions in this book was real, and touching. It would be hard for anyone to feel a baby in your stomach, and not become attached. She also got close to Nikos. The two had a lot to work out, but it made the book better. The book had a beauty and the beast feel to it. Nikos had burn scar, and thought no one would ever want him. Georgia was able to fall in love with the man beneath the scars.
I loved this book!
