BOUND picks up where ENSLAVED left off, but now we get to learn about Titus. *sigh, i love him* Titus is a Guardian you don't want to ignore. He's telepathic for starters, but that is only a small amount you learn from previous stories. You hear of him being covered so that he does not contact skin ie gloves and long sleeved shirts, etc. The reason for this goes in to detail in his book, and believe me, it gets HOT. Natasa, his love interest and obsession from first contact (you will want to be her, fyi) is a complete mystery. Their adventure leads you to learning so much about both of them. The character development is incredible. Elisabeth Naughton has never been one to let you down on actually "feeling" the characters. The action and suspense is never lacking. There are new developments in this war against the Gods, new players come into this game and you'll find yourself booing and cheering at the same time. My heart was racing during many scenes, you feel like you are actually there and it's amazing.
Anybody waiting for Nick's story? Well guess what, get ready to have your mind blown! *evil grin*
I highly recommend this series, and more so this book. You want the naughty, you have it here. You want believable characters and a love story that will make you warm inside, it's here. The passion is unbelievable, you will cry and laugh and sigh.
This book is a continuation of Enslaved where Titus first encounters Natasa (Tasa) and the mystery around why his curse does not react with her. (I'm not giving up a spoiler). The start of the book reveals Titus's obsession with her and trying to find her. As the story line progresses they actually do reconnect and their adventure begins. You learn about Tasa, what she is and what her quest is and who her father is. You soon realize that Tasa is actually Titus's soul mate and as the Fate's would have it or so it's said the Argonauts would have but one soul mate and it would be one they could not have, (proven wrong in all the books thanks to our sweetheart of a Fate enough said). He would do anything to protect her and she in turn to protect him. As you continue with this story you are introduced to new players, new obstacles and a twist I never saw coming with regards to Nick.
Like the old adage where there's a will there's a way and Titus and Tasa work around his curse. Elisabeth Naughton I give this book 5 stars and I so can't wait to see what the next installment has in store for us. Will it be Nick????
Honestly, I was kind of bored with Titus's story and it actually made me angry at times with what he does. Obviously having met Natasa in the last book, he has spent pretty much all of his free time searching for her while hiding out in his room saying he's still not 100%. But that only lasts until this party of sorts at the castle where Isadora is to make a speech about Atalanta being dead and Maelea being the one who killed her. Everybody's there...the Argolean people, the council, the Argonauts, the misos...and Natasa. They have no idea what she is, only that she has a lot of power in her. So when she's found out about visiting with Maelea, she ends up getting chased. And with Titus being the front runner. As she flees she ends up taking him with her and pulling him into the mess that is her life. She was seeking out Maelea for information because she is running out time before that which is inside her will destroy the world. Or so everybody thinks. Between Amazons, Zagreus and Hades they sure have their work cut out for them just to survive. And with the fever burning hotter each day inside of Natasa things only get harder. To prevent the worst from happening, Natasa takes her own life in her hands but Titus refuses to let her go. He completes the mission she had been on, but as it turns out it didn't really matter. Things had been planned out well and the outcome is that she can control her power. Which is even strong enough to repel Zeus and Poseidon.Read more ›
