Our Favorite Compared to Sparkle
Update June 6, 2023. After using my sparkle I had for a year I was excited to get back to Bounty and I was shocked at the lower quality. The towels look different right out of the gate. The rolls are smaller...I still had a roll left from a year ago and I could see the difference. So I thought maybe it was rolled more tightly so I weighed the rolls and indeed the new rolls weigh less. Old rolls were like 10.5oz and the new one were 9.5oz (approx) Also like others have said they are rougher feeling and they look different...plus I think I paid $2 more. Not cool so I lowered my rating. Bounty needs to go back to making these as they were.We have been buying this Bounty for years and it's always been my favorite. We had the opportunity to try Sparkle in the select a size variety and they seemed about half the thickness of Bounty so I tried putting a tsp of water on both towels and it became quickly apparent which one was more absorbent. Sparkle might seem a little cheaper but you have to use 2-3 sections compared to 1 of Bounty to accomplish the same task.I am really happy with Bounty and we will be sticking with our favorite in the future.Thanks for reading my review

I have always wondered if the Bounty brand is as good as they claim to be. Can one paper towel actually absorb a massive amount? Can they truly clean a lot of surface area with out tearing? Well I decided to put a single sheet of Bounty to the test and I was completely surprised. I tore one sheet off to dry off my freshly washed hands. Now that one sheet was able to absorb all the water from my hands and upper wrists area quickly with still some areas on the towel still being completely dry. I then sprayed down the counter top in front of the coffee maker and tea maker with cleaner and then used that one towel to clean that area up. Pictured above is the final results that hand drying and then cleaning. Bounty truly did a great job. That one sheet survived without tearing and cleaned up that counter space perfectly. Maybe its time for a change
