Goldie has decided to take matters into her own hands. She is tired of hiding, tired of not being able to live the life that she wants with Jett. She has no specific "plan" exactly, but she knows that she wants to expose Rex and Leo for what they are and finally be free to be with Jett. Goldie is a big girl, but she is in a whole new league, where money is all that matters and for the right price ANYTHING is possible.
When Goldie walks out on Jett to try to put her "plan" in action, Jett is lost. This ever dominant man has always been in control, and when Goldie leaves and he loses his control he is a mess. Jett's not the only one having a hard time dealing with Goldie leaving the club though, Kace is a little extra brooding, and the girls well they are a little lost too.
"I craved her like a drug, and no matter what I did, I couldn't tamp down the feelings."
Without even knowing it though, Jett and Goldie are both trying to accomplish the same task. Neither having any clue what the other is doing. Goldie trying to get her information on the inside, by going back to Rex. Jett goes to the third bidder of Lot 17 and asks for his help by presenting him with an offer he can't refuse. Rex is taunting Jett about having Goldie by his side, and Jett lets that doubt creep in because he has no idea what Goldie is actually doing. When things come to a head and Jett gets the information he needs to put an end to Rex and Leo ... the situation between Goldie and Jett becomes especially intense when Goldie lands in jail!
Nothing's ever easy in the game of love and the story of Jett and Goldie is no different.
With arrests, deaths, fires, erotic art, scandalous gumbo talk, and so much more Meghan takes us on an EPIC conclusion to this series.
The revamping of this series could not have come at a most opportune time. The fall of 2017 has been one of the worst in category Hurricanes.
People of fortune see life through rose-colored glasses, but not the Jeff Colby's of the world. he sees it through purple, green, and gold-colored glasses. He lives his life through three simple words: justice, faith, and power. Jett educated Goldie on Justice for those striving for second chances, faith in the people involved in life, and hopes for the power of love. With those three words, those three meanings, Goldie hopes finally sit back and live her life with the infamous Jett Colby by her side.
But, nope. It was apparent Goldie couldn't stay away from Jett. And when started trying to win her back - I knew it was only a matter of time.
What happened at Rex's? I won't spoil that. And Lot 17? We know who should and will get it ...
I enjoyed this series so much and was happy to see at the end that the Author has so many spin offs planned! So fun.
Now, I must go discover more about the dark Kace.
Annoyed. Excited. Hopeful. Happy. Sad. Steamy. Hot.
You’re going to need to buckle up for this third book of the Bourbon series
This book does come together and closes up the first three books nicely.
And it leaves you feeling happy and satisfied for Jett & Goldie’s future.
It’s a warm happy ending that fills your heart with hope.
Now I’m off to start the next book about Kace.

Once again, Goldie and her sass, spark and spunk make this story as enjoyable as it is. In saying that, Jett delivers the lines that make the entire series, lines which had me laughing so hard I was crying!!! And then had to put my Kindle down to catch my breath 😂😂😂
My only minor issue with this book - and essentially the whole series - is that it did drag on a little in places. And in hindsight, it could've been condensed into two books. However, I absolutely enjoyed this series and Bourbon Kingdom was no exception. To see everything resolved - except for Kace's problems of course (bring on Bourbon Truths) - left me feeling satisfied that I (and Jett & Goldie) got a happily ever after ❤️
Picking up right where the cliffhanger left off & diving right in! But with the inclusion of Rex' POV. We learn of his involvement with Leo & all that it entails. Their plans for Lot 17, as well as Jett's & a third bidder. We learn that Goldie is stronger than even she believes as she strives to take back her life. Oh & there's snippets of the other Jett girls, Diego & who can forget Kace (so hoping he gets his HEA)
Love Meghan Quinn & would recommend this & any other of her books
However what made me remove a star from the rating was the epilogue. It should be about Jett & Goldie not Kace. I know it builds to another series with everyone in it but it sort of flicked a switch off the main couple. I know they'll be mentioned in future books but the epilogue needs more than about just Kace.
