Highly trained assassin Jason Bourne is on the hunt for the agents who stole his memory and true identity. With a new generation of skilled CIA operatives tracking his every move, Bourne is in a non-stop race around the globe as he finally learns the truth behind his mysterious past. Loaded with incredible fight and chase sequences, it’s the exhilarating movie with “mind-blowing action” (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times) that you can’t afford to miss!

Matt Damon is excellent in this role and seeing him age some between the three movies just makes sense. The would have been a great end to the Borne franchise. But No! There is another sequel and while not bad I think the first three are better.. I don't think the 4th movie "jumps the shark" but I could have lived without it.
Ultimatum is loaded with interesting plot but does not go light on the action, fights, car chases and more. If you are an action junky this will be a pretty good movie. Find the resolution of the Jason Borne saga here. Watch the 3 movies in order. It matters. I very much enjoyed the whole trilogy and Ultimatum is no exception. I'm giving it 5 stars.
BUT - why is there no special edition? Surely with three movies they have some extra footage, new insights, more featurettes? This DVD edition is sorely lacking. Of course, the studio will wait 6 months until we've all bought this one and then give us "the wonderful edition." And then 6 more months down the road all three films in a new "explosive collection." And they wonder why fans are so dissatisfied? Pay $20 for two people to see it in the theatre (no snacks!) pay $20 for the DVD, and then again if you want extra footage or special features! More often than not, I've been skipping the first step. Highly recommend the film, but if you can wait, they'll be a better DVD soon I'm sure.
