About the Author
Born in 1959, Victoria Jackson grew up in a Bible-believing, piano-playing, TV-free home in Miami. Her father coached gym, and she became a talented gymnast, even acquiring a college scholarship to Furman University. When Johnny Crawford (The Rifleman) met her at a summer stock production, he encouraged her to pursue acting and bought her a one-way ticket to Hollywood. For two years, she held odd jobs in the show-biz capital -- as a cigarette girl, waitress, and even typist -- until Johnny Carson noticed her stand-up routine and put her on The Tonight Show ... twenty times. After that, she starred in many movies and TV shows, most notably six seasons on Saturday Night Live. In 2012, she began a partnership with Liberty Alliance, a conservative media group, to produce her political webshow, The Victoria Jackson Show.

Even those of us who are sympathetic to her cause and agree with what she says need to understand what exactly turned her head around and set her on the path to conservatism. This book just doesn't do that.
That said, she opens her soul to the reader and is quite funny - laugh out loud funny in many parts. She's very honest about her life, fears, and insecurities and seems to be one very sweet person. If you're the type of person that needs more detail/dirt on the celebrities in the book, and their names, then you might be a tad disappointed. If so, go read some rags from the supermarket.
For the 1 star trolls - read the book and then share your thoughts. For the imbecile that said Victoria's a racist get a life!!
For those that call her stupid - she sure was RIGHT ON when it comes to Obama !!! And by the looks of the polls (worse than any recent president, yeah even worse than Carter) a lot more people are enlightened !!
