Overall, excellent build quality, great price and a wise investment for the beginning photog.
In any case, I just wanted these filters to improve the quality of my pictures. I have to be honest, I was looking for something cheap that would serve basic functions.
Well, this product does what it says and gives you what you asked for. The 3 filters it provides are basic stuff every photographer in the making needs, and each of them delivers. UV filter does a good job, I havent seen any color change due to its use. ND is good as well, giving you a good filter for light, specially in ultra bright settings. And the polarizer is good as well, it filters what needs to be filtered.
Since I am not a professional, I cant give you exact numbers or specifications. I just can say they are good enough for a beginner, they offer what a basic user needs.
They come in a small pack where you can store them. Each one in a small plastic bag.
The reason for the 4 stars is that it also provides a lens cap. The cord attaches to the cap with an adhesive, which tends to loose adhesiveness over time, which makes losing your cap real common.
Overall: Good for basic use, as a photography student, found to be good tools.
The extra cap with the thread is a great value since the lens cap is always there and I dont need to remove it to carry it in my pocket or forget where I placed it after my shot.
On the whole a great product, used it on both the 18-55 and the 75-300 telephoto lens for my Canon T2i. Definitely recommend this for any intermediate photographer.
Overall it was a good buy for $20. I recommend this for anyone on a tight budget just looking to screw around with some filters so they can get some different types of shots. I would not recommend this for pro's, I assume they already know that though (the price kind of gives it away).
Now to answer another reviewers issue with these 58mm filters not fitting a Canon SX10, 20, or 30, these cameras have no threads in the lens so you have to purchase an adapter by Cowboystudio (available on Amazon) that twists on the exterior of the lens and has the 58mm threads to accept the filters.
With the Canon SX10-20-30 cameras, you will get some vignetting at the lowest zoom position if you stack 2 or more of these filters. It's not an issue with just one filter and can be avoided when stacking 2 by zooming out a small amount, just watch the monitor or viewfinder carefully.

A UV filter is really just a lens protector, leaving two "effects" filters in a 3 filter set. This set includes the two most useful ones.Read more
