But I persevered, and I'm so glad I did. Once I stopped focusing on THAT aspect, I was able to get into the story and all the nuances. I could then get into it, if you understand that, identify with the familial struggles and personal struggles between Jacob and Leila.
I can honestly say that the ending was without a doubt THE perfect ending to this story, and thrilling to me. Totally !!!
I want to thank the writer for superb story telling, and bringing it all full circle.
This is my review and I'm sticking to it
The steam! The sex! The kinkness! Whew is Jacob Whitmore a dom to rival some of the best and Leila Montgomery loves to challenge his rules and get punished. It is hot hot hot! I don't want to say too much for those who haven't read any of the series but this is seriously hot!
Oh the drama. It keeps you going! Egos too big to big to fit into the room, celebs, and perfect 10 woman who judge the main character Leila. Can she handle it all? Will it get to her? How does she cope? Will the antics of these have it all famous go too far and will Leila say "screw it"?
This is seriously worth reading. I haven't even able to put it down. I have recommended it to everyone I could think of. BUY IT! You won't regret it.
I really enjoyed that the author built a lot of plot into the story and it wasn't just centered in the bedroom. This story also spans several months which was another huge bonus so that everything didn't feel so rushed. You can't read this without falling in love with Leila and Jacob.
The only things that I found disappointing were the errors (capitalization and a few missing words) and the cliff hanger. While the book ends at a good spot in Lelia and Jacobs relationship, there are all of the secondary characters that the author spent so much time building up and you're left with so many questions. I did notice that those characters will have their own stories, I just wish that there had been given some kind of bridging point without all of the questions.
