I collect steelbooks so as soon as this was announced I was super excited! Saw this movie in theatres and it was AWESOME but a little confusing. Can’t wait to watch it again

Its 2024, companies are slowly phasing out DVD drives in computers and laptops. Here comes Studio Ghibli releasing their amazing movies without ANY digital download. SMRT. Way to encourage pirating.

The fact that there are so many crazy, entitled people who care that it's not as minimalistic as the other ghibli steelbooks to MATCH their collection is one of the grossest first world problems ever. Wow and boo to you. Go find a hobby. This steelbook is SO beautiful and looks GREAT with the others, regardless of "too much" artwork. The spine is juat as clean as the others so if they're on a shelf you can't tell, anyway. Love ghibli movies with their beautiful messages and art 😍

I’m not an anime watcher so I’ve barely seen any but I went to go see this movie when it came out and it was absolutely stunning. I assure you, even if you’re not a anime fan either, this movie has the capability to capture you in a world of a breathtaking masterpiece. This beautiful steelbook’s cover barely captures the sheer and utter magnificence of this films art. It is a work of art through out the entire film, even if you are left wondering “what the heck is going on”, you cannot escape how gorgeous this movie is.

the kingdom of dreams and madness is crumbling.

The Wind Rises is a beautiful, mature film crafted with incredible artistry, but i can’t shake the feeling that it’s underwhelming as a final glimpse into the mind that has created the most fantastical worlds ever imagined.

The Boy and the Heron is a metaphorical and literal last journey through that mind, and plays like a greatest hits of each of the worlds he’s created. it’s a glorious, triumphant, bittersweet encore, and a perfect farewell.

Please, for the love of everything, release a version of this movie that has a minimalistic steelbook like nearly every other Ghibli release. I will never buy this as it will not match the others. I have all of the other ones (except Earwig and the Witch, of course) and I will not be buying this one. The cover is lovely, but it sticks out compared to the others. Very disappointing.

Also, re-release the Grave of the Fireflies!!!
