The movie stats off in Claire's(Jennifer lopez) front room of her house
her and her husband are separated at the time, so she is a .H.S SCHOOL TEACHER, raising a older h.s son
by herself, her husband comes by the house at times to see her and spend time with his son
but makes a lot of out of town business trip s to San Francisco
so, one day while he is out of town a young man , also a h.s school kid comes over from next door
he is with his grand father, his grand father called him from san berdtino , to watch the house while he was getting a kidney transplant
the grand father goes in the hospital and while he is there and the husband is out of town , Noah (kid from out of town )comes over as claire and her son was backing out of the garage, the electric door was not working right, so Noah being the nice guy and a from what his grandpa says
is a very good at fixing things, so he tells Claire he could help fix it , but they would need to go the hard ware store they go get the stuff
and back at the house he fixed the door, Claire is great ful and Noah is a sexy young boy and Claire being a sexy mom and lonely
well he was ask top stay for dinner , he agrees and has other things on his mind, anyway after dinner things happen, Claire is a little ashamed
to be having sex with a younger man and being married still, try to remember this as the show goes on
Noah ends up becoming one of Claire student in her class room, , the principle has a note requesting a transfer from noahs other school
Claire had nothing to do with this, Claire figures out what going on and now all hell brakes loose, now you have dejected young man
and he wants things his way and no one is going to stop him,not Claire or husband or anyone.
Claire finds out about noah's parents death and then her husband and her son were out driving and the car her son was driving lost its brakes
they all end up in an old barn that Noah got them to come too, anyway people get seriously hurt and claire fights back and trys to save her family
ths movie will let you see the kind of women Claire is and how well Jennifer Lopez can make a movie about how tough a women can be
The plot is fairly cookie cutter, but I do think for what it is, the acting and writing are decent, but nothing that spectacular. It is R rated, but it on the tamer end of the spectrum. It mostly earns it through swearing, and a couple butt shots of Ryan Guzman. Jennifer Lopez is in her underwear during the one sex scene but keeps everything covered.
Those who get the blu-ray, the extras that are included are about 10 minutes of deleted scenes and a 10 min making of feature. There is also a commentary track on the movie with the director. Okay for what is there, but nothing all that extensive. It does not try to be anything more than it is as a movie, and at just about an hour-and-a-half running time, it does not go on too long. It is worth checking out, but definitely does not fit into the category of a must see.
You have seen this movie a thousand times over and sometimes done better. The bad guy begins to ruin the woman's reputation, tries to turn her family against her and when all else fails with 15 minutes to go before the credits decides to kill her since he cannot have her and no one else will.
This is more movie of the week than movie theatre material a time waster indeed. Pretty people with a pretty bad plot.

That said, it still manages to create tension and, over all, it's not too bad. J Lo isn't a bad actress and Ryan Guzman makes a decent fist of the job of resident psycho. I wouldn't want to watch it a second time but it's reasonably entertaining and I wouldn't class it as a waste of time.
