Much of the story involves a film studio in Italy. The 20 year-old main character gains much experience in this gay erotic adventure. The book is very gritty and right from the start includes barely consensual sex in the form of a forced (by authority not violence) sex scene with an Italian customs inspector who starts out claiming to be searching the protagonist for drugs but ends up sexually molesting the boy..From there our young American lad goes to work for a film studio and becomes the object of lust from his co-workers. This excellent work has extraordinary pen and ink illustrations which are pure artistic genius. These fine art illustrations are highly regarded internationally by Zack fans who have created somewhat of a cult with their devotion to his art which is widely regarded as the best in gay imagery. Oliver Frey (aka Zack) has provided the reader with his usual array of hotter than hot drawings and his partner Roger Kean the written words as they follow the adventures of spunky Gil Graham and his introduction to the movie business, circa 1980, when this book was first published. Unlike the "Bike Boy" and "Rogue" comic book series, this one is a 170 page trade paperback novel with black and white illustrations. Employed by a Hollywood producer more interested in what Gil has packed in his Levi's than anything else, our young hero begins as a gofer on an Italian film set. He doesn't even get through customs without being ravaged so you can imagine what activities lay in wait for him on the Cinecitta film set and in the back streets and secret sex clubs of Rome. Fortunately for all, he gets to share his sexual activities with us and find true love with new found buddy, the equally divine and hunky Mike. Kean and Frey have combined to write a very horny story -porn with style- with steamy sexual situations with appropriately explicit illustrations in this excellent boy sex fantasy.

Beware that the kindle edition of this collection (Vice City, Disco City, etc.) comes without illustrations, which beats the purpose of buying this book.

This book was apparently the first writing exercise from an artist, Zack, better known for his graphic art books. It was very simplistic and lacked richness of detail and developed characters. I can't recommend it.

I was expecting a cartoon book, but it is not. I have not started to read this book yet. Will see how interesting it is. I will update this review after I read the book.
