"This is one clever and fun book for the whole family. Each of [the] 52 themed activities is good for a week's worth of fun, and gives the parent or adult a lot of room to change the activities within a given theme. The homeschoolers love it because you give them lesson plans—excellent!"  —families-first.com

I was disappointed that the book was fairly small. The recipes were mostly appetizers, drinks and such. The meals were basics that are most likely staples in every family's menu already. I just was very underwhelmed. My son is already eating mostly pasta and soups, and this was more of the same. It would have been nice to see the table of contents before I ordered it.

The Watermans' cookbook is a great resource for anyone, braces or not. The recipes are totally appealing and tasty. I wish I'd had this book when I had braces! I remember eating only tomato soup and chocolate milkshakes for days on end because my teeth were so sore. This book is a godsend for those who are sporting appliances of any kind in their mouth!!!

The Braces Cookbook - Revised & Expanded Edition is a great for people in orthodontic treatment! However, the recipes are sure to please everyone!

When someone gets braces, they often receive a list of foods they can't eat. This cookbook offers many substitutions for the foods that should be avoided while in treatment. Additionally, it suggests recipes that provide comfort on those days when the teeth are most tender from treatment.

The full-color photo with each recipe makes this an easy to follow cookbook in the kitchen!

As a marketing consultant who works with orthodontic practices, I highly recommend this cookbook!

This is a small book full of good, kid friendly receipes for anyone that has braces. It is also good for elderly people who have to eat soft food. I found it informative and my son actually ate some of the receipes!

I am an orthodontist and I strongly recommend that you purchase this book for your child who is about to get braces and those already in braces. It is a delightful book, written in a manner that all ages can read and understand. The authors do a great job at giving us simple, fun recipes that will not only meet the nutritional requirements for the patient, but also set their mind at ease, in that they will still be able to eat tasty foods. Great book. I tip my hat to the authors.

My granddaughter read through the whole book the day she received it. I don't know if she has tried any of the recipes yet.
