Bradbury fought in print against censorship; he believed in freedom of the press. Seed reminds us that some of this arose during the McCarthy era of anticommunism. Bradbury's works can be see as posted in the front line of resistance. In today's Trump regime with its rantings about fake news, Seed perhaps unintentionally reminds us of the value of the written word as posited by Bradbury.
