My first foray into the RoboVac world and after just a few days I'm wondering how we lived without it. "Mr Bump" has been fantastic at cleaning our wooden and tiled floors - set him loose when going to bed and by morning the floor is spotless and he's back on his docking station fully charged!
It's not too loud - as per other reviews of other Eufy products, it's about as loud as a microwave and is something you'd get quite used to. It does have a tendency to bump into smaller objects like chair legs (hence the name "Mr Bump!) but manages to avoid walls nicely. It's quite cool to see it whirl around the chair leg and head off again.
I've only really used the Auto mode regularly, but have used Spot Cleaning and Edge Mode a few times and they do exactly what you expect them to. Edge Mode can cause the Robovac to head off in a direction you weren't expecting him to, but the remote control is ideal for steering him back to where you wanted him to go.
The app is simple but does just what is needed - the one night where Mr Bump decided to push its docking station out of the way to clean underneath it I woke to a notification that he was lost and needed putting back on the charger. Easily done!
I can see needing to replace the brushes every 6 months or so, ours are getting a bit bent already (but no change in the cleaning efficiency) and there is a kit of replacement parts available.
All in all, very happy with the Robovac and have already recommended it to two friends!
