I was a patient of Dr Espay's several years ago when I lived in Ohio and he has as kind and thoughtful bedside manner as he shows brilliant research insight in this book.
In a footnote on pg 79 it mentions, "While also critically important, we are not tackling in this book the important subject of how to improve day-to-day symptoms in individual patients." I hope that is his next book, and I would love to contribute!"
Dr Espay personally helped me so much and this book lays out the research and thought approach to help all those with neurodegenerative diseases!
An excellent book, written from both the physician and patient perspective, that encourages us to think outside the usual box of neurodegenerative diseases.
