Wol-vriey – Wol-vriey is Nigerian and quite tall. He currently resides in a state of uneasy stalemate with his threatening-to-thin-beyond-redemption hair, and believes there actually are things that go bump in the night. Wol-vriey recycles the ridiculous into reasonable reality for the reader. His WEIRRRD philosophy? WEIRRRD = Warp/Write Everything into Realistic Ridiculous Readable Distorted Dream Dimension Descriptions. Wol-vriey is the author of the BUD MALONE SERIES of bizarro detective novels: (Boston Posh (#1), Boston Corpse (#2) and Boston Lust (#3)). He also penned Bizarro 101, Dr. Orgasm, Brainchew, Girls Are Not Smiling, Hell Dancer, Melanie Nemesis Catchpole, Pussy Transmission, Vagina Mundi, Vegan Zombie Apocalypse, and Vegan Vampire Vaginas published by Burning Bulb Publishing His stories: The Bizarro Story of I, Alice’s Adventures in Steamland: The Clockwork Goddess, Chainsaw Cop Corpse, Meat Suitcase and Guiltessa Dolores are published by other imprints. You know what you are getting into folks when you read a book by Wol-vriey. He does not disappoint in this sequel to Brainchew, you don't have to read book 1 to read book 2, but I would highly recommend it. They are great creature feature monster stories. Truly horrifying. Plus there are hidden easter eggs throughout both books and some of those point you to "Girls Are Not Smiling" another extreme horror story by this very cool author. Pick these other books up, you will not be disappointed. My reviews of these books can be found at Goodreads and Amazon
Tiff Hooper wants to get revenge on Josh Penham cause of him abducting and abusing her. Her and her friends Lisa, Monique, and Carmela make a plan to kidnap him and teach him a lesson. They go to the infamous Pleasant Street Cemetery where they commit their vengeance on Josh, but things take a turn for the worst.
There were a few twists and turns I definitely wasn't expecting. I still wonder how Brainchew eats all these brains, but he still isn't really very smart. :0) He is one monster you wouldn't want to mess with. He can smell you a mile away. I did find it intriguing how he can sense that someone has a disease such as Parkinson's disease in which effects the brain.
I was disappointed with the ending. Everything was great and suspenseful, but I feel that the ending could have had more to it. It seemed too quick.
All in all, I did enjoy reading this book.
Many thanks to the author, who provided me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
