About the Author
Elisa has been on a health journey for almost 10 years now
. It started with a purpose to cure her skin from acne naturally by choosing a healthier diet, by increasing the consumption of plant foods and raw foods. She got certified as a Natural Health Practitioner
and published her best-selling raw food recipe book
in Estonia. She started her own company, gave numerous classes and courses
teaching about raw foods and the importance of good nutrition. She was asked to speak on TV
on several occasions and had her recipes and photography published in magazines.
But, over the years, the pressure of being perfect and eating an "ideal" diet took an unexpected turn. She found herself following rules and restrictions rather than listening to her own body cues. Slowly it turned into an eating disorder - bulimia and orthorexia.
So she started to seek for balance with food and eating. To find an answer that would end her bingeing, emotional eating, food fears and eating disorder.
To find her way back to intuitive eating - listening, trusting and following her body.
Over the years she researched extensively about eating disorders, reading countless books and gained knowledge from her personal experience. She finally managed to fully recover
and achieve total freedom from all eating disordered behaviours and symptoms. Feeling healthy physically and mentally.
